The hotel is an L-shaped building, that is, like two articulated buildings: one parallel to the sea, the second - the end. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, threw things in the room, went to look around. When we returned to the room, at first they did not understand what was happening: everything in the room was jumping slightly: the Tropicana disco began, located, attention !! ! - in the basement of this same hotel, or rather, in one of the basements of the building, facing the sea. We immediately went down to the reception, they said that our number was bad, we couldn’t hear each other. Behind the counter was a man who did not speak Russian, but understood English. He told us that he couldn't do anything right now, we had to wait until the morning. The night passed in diamonds. In the morning, the reception was repeated and the tantrum with the exit regarding the replacement of the room. In the morning there was already a Russian-speaking lady, she quickly realized that there would be a scandal, and, apparently, an extensive one. I called the owner. According to her, the owner promised that as soon as the room was free, they would move us. Fine! we said. Then we go downstairs with our suitcases and wait right here in front of the counter until they give us a room. . The number was found. In another building, in the same one that stands parallel to the sea, you can’t hear the disco there (with the balcony shutter closed and the air conditioner on). The water in the room is not salty, it's just different - that's true. And one more interesting effect: after three days of brushing your teeth with this very water, there was a total whitening of the teeth - not every dentistry can do that : ) I smoke and, moreover, a lot, and so even the tar plaque was washed off my teeth. I am a chemical engineer by education and declare with all responsibility that the water is normal technical, highly mineralized. You can not drink this water, but you can use it. Unpretentious. Feeding. This is a separate issue. There are queues at the canteen, but these are temporary difficulties. Seeing the queue, they simply put the device on the case - after half an hour there was nobody. Another thing is the range. I have been to many places, but the food is worse nowhere. It is a fact. Solid and confident duo. On the other hand, I didn’t come to Spain to eat, since there are plenty of cafes around. We often ate at a cafe across the block (towards the Santa Susana railway station): normal food - meat, salads, side dishes. The average price tag for two is 30 euros. Most of the rest of the cafes are goofy fast food. Didn't eat there, health is more expensive. Railway near the hotel. In fact, it is not quite a railway. This, you will laugh - subway. The most real. It's just that in Spain there are two types of metro - lines of type "L" - the metro does not go to the surface and lines of type "R" - the metro that goes to the surface. Near the hotel is the subway exactly type "R". And therefore - almost silently. Sea. Walk to the sea - really about five - seven minutes walking pace. The sea is clean, the sand is large - everything is very, very good. But we were not lucky - the Mediterranean Sea in late July-early August 2011 was very cold. Fortunately, it’s deep right away - you can jump sharply almost from the shore. And by the way, that is why it is better not to meddle with children here - for children it is deadly deep. I am 192 cm tall. Three steps from the shore - I can barely reach the bottom. The fourth step - there is no bottom. It makes no sense to dive, mask, fins, snorkel - it makes no sense to bring here. The bottom is solid flat sand, there is nothing to see underwater. Fun. The horror that is happening with entertainment in the hotel is beyond words. Even Tunisia with its parochial school entertainment will give a hundred points ahead to the invited "artists". It would be better if there was no one at all. It got to the point that one day some team came and sang songs. . . "Tender May".... I wanted to jump off the balcony. The wife kept it. There are plenty of hotels nearby with a surprisingly decent level of entertainment. They let everyone in. Particularly pleased at the distant hotel "Aqua" was a pianist (albeit on a synthesizer, but still), with a performance of the classics and a Spaniard who lights up every evening near another hotel with his songs (I even bought his CD). In general, for the money that we left for Spain - 60 thousand for two - this hotel is worth it.
