We rested at the hotel with a friend from 05/10/14 to 05/17/14. I read reviews about the hotel before the trip and in many ways they were useful, so I decided to write my own. The hotel is 3 *, so you should not expect more or more service from it : ) We settled quickly, an attentive Russian-speaking girl at the reception.
Our room was tolerable (from cheap ones), overlooking a shabby basketball court and neighboring hotels. The blanket hit. Have you ever traveled by train? Do you remember blankets from there? So it seemed to me that the decommissioned blankets of Ukrzaliznytsia went to this hotel as humanitarian aid.
The door on the balcony is transparent from floor to ceiling, and the open curtains are a paradise for exhibitionists : ) We did not turn on the TV (if this box of 20x20 cm can be called a TV), because with our eyesight it was useless and you have to take the remote control from it at the reception with a deposit of 10 euros. But we regularly monitored the news from the next room, as the audibility in this hotel is simply amazing. You can hear absolutely everything. At night, I woke up a couple of times from the fact that sorry... a neighbor farted behind the wall.

The Spaniards settled in the room to the right of us - swearing and scandals, slamming the door... As in a joke: "Castarato, impotent !! " Russian translation - "Go away, I don't love you anymore. "
In the room to our left are two ladies of a very late Balzac age from Russia (whose TV we listened to, as well as a careful selection of outfits by the closet): “Natasha, you are 1.5 m tall, what do you wash there for an hour in the shower? ".
The hotel itself is clean, nice staff. Here and there a little shabby sofas, but there is wi-fi in the lobby, although the speed leaves much to be desired. After talking with other vacationers, we realized that this hotel is even nothing, it can be worse : )
The dining room, and this is the dining room, does not smell like a restaurant. Each table is determined by the dining room staff and writes to you on a card and then you should eat at this table, and it does not matter that it is in the far left corner and that you are uncomfortable and uncomfortable there and do not like the neighbors at the next table. No, do not think, we are not particularly capricious young ladies, but given the main contingent of the hotel, you will understand us. 90% of the guests are people of retirement and “deep retirement” age, who have a false jaw, who “sips” soup, and who “sips”, who sneezes incessantly, scattering bacilli, who coughs... Of course, we would live to this age and look at us then, but you can’t throw words out of the song...
The food… It could have been better… By the end of the trip, fried, steamed, boiled eggs already made me sick… we read in a phrasebook that eggs would be “lousy” in Spanish, and so the breakfast was like that, egg : ) Oatmeal is not tasty, what yogurt something artificial, I don’t even know what to compare it to. But sausages are plentiful. In the evening, for dinner, it was pretty good to eat, and soups and meat and salads.
Near the hotel there is a “badega” : ) - a shop where they sell wine, very tasty sangria on tap (which is surprising, we usually sell such . . g on tap) and fruits nearby in a shop.

Beach. We liked the beach, and even despite the coolness of May, we were swimming, though we had to warm up the Hennessy from the Dutik. The sea is clean and beautiful. Probably at the height of the season it compensates for all the shortcomings of the hotel. The description of the hotel says less than 200 m to it - this is from the opera “Three bast shoes on the map in the forest”, maybe in a straight line on the map and 200m, but you have to go through the underpass for about 10 minutes.
The best thing about this hotel is its location, 15 min. walk to the left to the center of the town with the old church, grocery stores, souvenir shops and railway station for the train. And 20 minutes walk to the right to another train station. It’s better to go to the right, there is a booth with an aunt who sells train tickets and tells you where and when to go, and you can also buy a ticket from her for 27 euros, which includes a round-trip ticket from your station and a sightseeing bus, which the price will be more profitable than buying this ticket later in Barcelona. It is better to go to Barcelona early in the morning, especially if you want to ride the sightseeing bus and have everything in time. Drive a maximum of 1.5 hours along the coast. The view from the train is picturesque. Get off at the Plaza Catalunya station in Barca and be sure to check when the last train leaves and the path from which it goes (on the electronic scoreboard, find your station or stations following yours along the coast, and look at which path and after what time it arrives). Walk along the Square, there are maps on the streets, and if you have a ticket for a sightseeing bus, then you can immediately go to it, anyway, you will “ride” all the main attractions and they will give you a convenient map. There are no public toilets in Barcelona, but as it turned out, you can go to any cafe. Important information, especially after a liter of sangria : ). I think it makes no sense to talk about the city, you need to see it and there is a lot of information on the Internet.
We took a tour of PortAventura. Sea of impressions, it is worth to go and try. Slides and slides, a sea of emotions. We bought a video of how we rode the slides, we are still laughing : )) The road does not tire, Spain even from the bus windows seemed green to us, with beautiful houses, many flowers, beautiful seascapes.
I hope the review will be useful for someone. Have a nice holiday in a sunny country.
