Were in the hotel "Monteplaya" with my daughter in late June-early July 2015. We were unpleasantly surprised that, having arrived at 10 o'clock, we could not immediately get into the room, we were forced to wait in the sun until 12.30. Although there were plenty of rooms available. But thanks at least for letting me put things in the storage room. They didn’t want to hear about any breakfast, lunch. Since you have breakfast and dinner, then on the day of arrival you don’t get breakfast, since your hour is from 12.30, and at this time breakfast is already over. You don't have lunch. Come for dinner only. In Egypt (we were five times) we were always fed, even after school hours, whenever we arrived. But Europe is in crisis. Every cent counts. We walked a hundred meters to the right of the hotel, there is a shop "Aldi" (I think that's what it's called), there is a cafeteria, we bought sandwiches for 1 euro and coffee for 1 euro. Have a bite. You can also buy cheap water there.
There are two beautiful pools in the yard. Therefore, life improved a little when we changed into swimsuits in the storage room and refreshed ourselves in the pool.
Finally at 12.30 we were settled in the room. The air conditioner doesn't work. They called the receptionist. It turned out that the air conditioning system is turned off in the hotel from 9.30 to 13 hours. Although it would be better to turn it off from 8.30 (still cool) and turn it on at 12. Usually people from the beach come at 12, and the stuffiness in the room is incredible.

Well, I'm all about the cons and cons. There is also good. There was plenty of food. Especially liked the seafood, seafood paella, large shrimp, mussels, squid. There have always been watermelons and melons. Lots of fruits: plums, apricots, bananas, oranges. Several varieties of cheese. There were few salads. . At least they did Greek. But the vegetables were cut into large pieces. And there were waterings, olive oil, and others.
The beach is across the road. Hotels in Spain of this level do not have their own beaches. Therefore, an umbrella on the beach is paid-5 euros. Sunbed -5 euros. Daily. We bought an umbrella for 7 euros and used it. Take beach towels with you. Can be rented at the hotel for a fee.
The hotel staff could have been friendlier. Although I can’t say that they didn’t do something, if you ask. I am very grateful to Victoria, the manager at the reception, she brought greens when her daughter fell and broke her knee. The Russian speaking manager (unfortunately, I don't know his name) set up Wi-Fi on my phone. Grateful.
Every evening there are concerts and evenings. But I'm not a fan of this amateur performance. I can't rate. The hotel is more for people "after forty" The hotel has a lot of European pensioners.
I advise you to take excursions at the Natalie tour agency. They have the cheapest tours.
