In early October, the weather allowed to swim, sunbathe and comfortably go on excursions. The hotel is conveniently located, near - three bays with beaches, to the large central beach is a short walk. Nearby - stop and sightseeing buses. To the center - 15 minutes brisk walk. Upon arrival, we were ready to settle immediately, but we asked for a room on the 7th floor overlooking the sea, and had to wait a bit. At this hour, leaving things in the locker room, went to the nearest beach.
The hotel has 2 panoramic elevators, a spiral staircase, very steep, I never walked on them, only from 7 to 8 floors in the jacuzzi. Waifay worked perfectly in the room. In the bathroom there were hand and body gels in the dispensers and a gift set with shampoo, hat, comb. The view from the balcony is wonderful. There was a wide variety of meat, fish and vegetable dishes for breakfast and dinner. On Sunday - more seafood dishes.
At the reception you could take maps of the nearby cities of Reus and Tarragona and get advice on how to get there and what to see. The guide took a ticket to the Gaudi Museum in Reus a little cheaper than in the museum itself. Excursions to Barcelona and Montserrat took in Busplan, quite satisfied with the organization.
I would like to relax more than once in Salou, and in particular in the Hotel Playa de Oro.
