I would like to share my impressions of my vacation in Catalonia. This is not an advertisement, but rather advice to those who are tired of huge faceless hotels, where the neighbor from above always has something falling on the floor, the neighbor on the left snores like a bear, and the neighbor on the right has “Moscow time” flowing in his veins and he is already at 5 in the morning starts watching TV. This time we stayed in a private house - in a manor house from the 13th century. The house looks more like a medieval fortress, with a tower. Full comfort, a hall with a fireplace, fountains and a swimming pool in the yard. Breakfast in the yard - if the weather permits - there are trees nearby: lemons, oranges, tangerine, olive trees. The owners, so everything is their own, even the eggs are fresh from their chickens. And what olive oil, and wine!!!!! ! There are only 3 rooms in the house (shower and toilet in the room) for rent. Silence, only the birds sing! And there is still a retinue in the same tower. So you wake up in the morning and think that you yourself fell into a bird's nest. The house stands in an olive grove. You can ride a bike, but it's better to rent a car: about an hour from Barcelona, .15 minutes to Tarragona (shopping + attractions), 5 minutes to Cambrils (shopping + beach). The hosts are very friendly, both are somewhere under 60, they know all the sights of Catalonia. And we found this small hotel purely by chance: my friend wanted to make a wedding for her daughter unusual, but not too expensive. Here, through one agency (the owner is German), they organized a “medieval” wedding, just in this “fortress”, since the garden is huge and beautiful, and in case of rain, the estate has 2 large halls, which are also rented out for festivities. And the wedding was also unusual: everything was in the medieval spirit: the dress of the bride and even the clothes for the groom and guests. Jesters just like in a Robin Hood movie. And they even got the dishes somewhere. We liked the house so much that we immediately stayed there, moved from the hotel. Now I can sleep almost until dinner, have breakfast in peace, sit by the fireplace in the evenings
