Hotel "Hawaii Mallorca"/3*/24.06. 12-07.07. 12/HB/TRPL+1 (i. e. two adults, a 16 year old child and a 5 year old child). Good day! I strive to give the most useful information to potential tourists, so I write as usual: first, briefly, only on business, and then each item is expanded (if someone has a desire to read to the end). I must say right away that there are a lot of reviews about the hotel, I agree with many. Therefore, I will indicate only those moments that are either not indicated, or indicated vaguely, or indicated incorrectly. In no case do I want to offend the authors of these reviews, the fact is that in 2013. the hotel is going to be 4 star, some of the changes have already been made last winter and some will be next. Therefore, by the way, it is possible that this review of mine will be outdated next year. However: 1. Having your own (EXCEPT THE BEACH!!! ) entrance to the sea (see photo). A big rarity for Spain and a huge plus for me - in the morning I went swimming in the sea as a charge. 2. Beach. Municipal, but Turkish-Greek-Egyptian hotels with their own beaches can envy the proximity of this hotel (maximum 2 minutes walk, see photo). Pleasant sand, smooth entry into the sea. Ideal for small children (see photo), but not so for lovers of long swims in the sea. The cost of the set "umbrella + two sun loungers" - 13.5 euros / day. Crowded (not Gelenzhik / Sochi / Anapa of course, but nonetheless). For Spain - clean enough. 3. Number. Some write in the reviews that the furniture is a bit old. Yes, probably, but that's okay, they saw a hypostare. But a small number of sockets (3 pieces for the whole room, including the one for the TV and the one for the hair dryer in the bathroom), as well as the unlocked door to the bathroom (there were four of us living in a two-room suite (!!! )) - this of course tight. The room has a kettle, disposable cups, hair dryer, LCD TV, refrigerator for free (filling it with drinks for an additional fee). Safe - 25 euros per week. It is found in reviews that there are no Russian TV channels - this is not true, there are already: ORT and Russia24. They write that they do not report soap and shampoos - not true. We were generously informed. 4. Nutrition. For breakfast every other day champagne, in the evenings every day ice cream. If you have HB, then for 2.5 euros / per boat you can buy ALL INCLUSIVE for drinks (beer, juices, and all kinds of cola there). The entrance to the sea is deep enough (not for small children). But not far from this place there are sea urchins. Therefore, caution does not hurt, since the water in this place is the most transparent. By the way, there is another "own" entrance to the sea - a pebble-cobblestone one on the other side of the entrance to the hotel, I did not swim there myself, but I saw how others swam. In my opinion, there are more waves and dirty. 2. Beach. The fact is that this is a bay, and therefore it is crowded (the fan arrangement of the coast, i. e. the beach area is small compared to the area of building hotels). About cleanliness. From my own and not only my experience, I believe that there are very few clean beaches in Spain. There are many yachts on the water in this bay. Accordingly, on weekends, the Spanish owners come to them to rest, and as a result - "household" garbage in the sea - plastic glasses, wrappers, etc. (I won't say that a lot, but nonetheless). So it’s better to take some kind of excursion on the weekend (but not to Palma - there are a lot of people there on weekends). And also because of the yachts, buoys are quite close to the shore, limiting the swimming area. That's why you can't swim far. . But by the end of our vacation, the rope with buoys broke, and we (Russian tourists : -)) swam away. Yes, sunbeds are very expensive on this beach. We bought two chairs at a local store for 15 euros (we brought them home later) and an umbrella (did not live to see the end of the vacation) for 9 euros. Many (by no means only Russians! ) lie on towels and mattresses. And by the way, paid sunbeds are a little far from the sea, which I personally do not like. And we were sitting with our chairs right by the sea. 3. Number. There doesn't seem to be anything to add. Well, except that many write about the "amazing" sea view. To be completely honest, most of the rooms have this "bay view" (see photo). That is, there is no view of the open sea, since the hotel itself is located at the very "bottom" of the bay. Quite close to the opposite shore of the bay. Well, this is so, in the quality of nitpicking. And one more thing: the son complained about the pillow, you see, it was uncomfortable - narrow. 4. Nutrition. The son asked me to write that it’s bad that they don’t give tea and coffee at dinner (they serve a lot of all kinds of delicious pastries). In general, with regard to food in Spain, this is a separate story. Who was in Spain, it is useless to tell. For those who have not been, I will try to give a short advice. If you took HB, deciding to dine in cafes, be careful in these same cafes (unless you are a glutton of course). For example, my wife and I took ONE serving of paella for TWO (Florida Cafe) for lunch, and after the evening we simply didn’t want to go to dinner - portions in Spain are by no means like in Moscow restaurants. We ourselves are in Spain for the second time, so we were more careful, and still "were not saved. " After that, we dined in the room, having bought sliced or pizza, sangria and juice. Prices are relatively loyal. Well, what Russian tourist doesn't steal something from a restaurant? ! The main thing is not to get impudent, actually it's impossible, but we got away with it - we didn't abuse it : -). By the way, if a connoisseur of Spain is reading this, is it customary for them to give champagne in the morning? Last time (Hotel KAKTUS PLAYA) the bars were given it every morning. And we also went once to the Blue Bar restaurant, which is next to the hotel - I recommend it, for example, they have a good signature Blue Bar salad (see photo). They also have good pizza prices. Okay, I'm rounding up. So, it turned out more than I wanted. I won’t write about excursions - it’s not the right topic. If you have any questions (including on excursions), write to (LedZeppelin73@yandex. ru), I will be happy to answer. Just a request - read this review first, and then ask questions. The last time I was sometimes written such that I wanted to openly ask: "why did I even write a review? ". Have a good rest! Roman.
