We returned from Tenerife a week ago. We rested from 08/23/2010 to 08/27/2010. I would like to share my impressions with everyone who is interested. Rest is just super!! ! There is not the slightest exaggeration that Tenerife is a place where everyone can find a holiday to their taste and budget. And the beauty of the island will not leave anyone indifferent. I want to say right away that our vacation became amazingly interesting and filled thanks to our guide Olavi. His culture, tact and patience, a sea of knowledge about the island and all its corners largely determined our impressions. My opinion is that neither with a single bus tour, nor by yourself (not knowing the island) you will see what we have seen these days! The hotel is also beyond praise Iberostar Anthelia Park can safely recommend to everyone. We lived in the Aida building, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, with a view of the ocean and mountains. The food is super. For breakfast, fresh juices of several types, champagne. For dinner, a large selection of seafood, excellent meat and desserts. To the beach 150 m. 3 swimming pools, one of them with sea water. The animation is great. Show programs and live music. Russian speaking girl at the reception. Cleaning and change of towels every day. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We drove from Ispatour, the host was Viajes Arturo. There are no complaints about the organization of the flight, transfer, hotel. Everything is clear, fast, calm. But here's the excursion program... Even before leaving, I shoveled a sea of information on the island and excursions, because there really is something to see. I wanted to see as much as possible. So I found reviews about excursions with Olavi and Eike and links to the site http://www. tenerifeinfo. eu/ru. I wrote a letter and received comprehensive information on the excursion program and prices. Upon arrival, we phoned, and Olavi and Eike arrived at the hotel. Eike and Olavi - charm and friendliness, culture and a lot of interesting and useful information about the island. After a half-hour conversation, our holiday program was drawn up: 1. Riding on the Mustcat catamaran. 2. Day in Loro Park. 3. Sightseeing tour (split into 2 days - I advise everyone !!! ). 4. Lanzarotte Island. 5. Lemuryatnik and Siam Park. I will describe everything in the same order. Sightseeing tours - individual: only our family and Olavi (also cheaper than with a group by bus. ).
1. Riding on a catamaran - who is not indifferent to whales and dolphins, wants to swim with sea turtles, walk along the ocean along the coast of Tenerife - you are there! The tour includes lunch and drinks. Unlimited drinks, including champagne. When whales (2-3 times larger than dolphins) swim a meter away from you - an unforgettable feeling, swimming with turtles is like in a movie, they do not swim, but fly in the water.
2. Loro park. Many travel agencies include a visit to the park in a sightseeing tour and allocate about 3 hours for it. I don’t know what you can see in Tenerife in one day, and even with a visit to Loro. We spent 6.5 hours in Loro Park and it didn't seem like much. First we watched all the shows (on the advice of Olavi, we immediately went to the first parrot show, and then just quickly switched to others). I advise everyone to follow the same principle, because the breaks between shows are decent and it’s better to watch everything at once, so that later park, and if you want to watch some show a second time. All programs are great! Kittens and killer whales are unique! An aquarium with a glass tunnel, where sharks and manta rays, penguinarium, orchids, flamingos, turtles and alligators, a sea of parrots swim above and around you. Everyone liked it very much!

3. The 1st day of the sightseeing tour included: El Teide and Las Cañ adas, we drove along the old crater, bought tickets and climbed the cable car to the peak (3550m), the views are amazing, the clouds are so far below that it is not clear where the ocean is and where sky. After Olavi showed us Mars - the most beautiful place, where lava and sand of various shades. Then through Santiago del Teide - to Masca (all this with stops at the observation decks). The mask is a pirate village and a beautiful gorge, looking at it you involuntarily imagine how sea robbers were hiding here. Further End of the World and Los Gigantes. Thanks to Olavi, we also bought! In front of our eyes, the fishermen caught a huge moray eel! In general, a 4 GB memory card was barely enough.
4. A day later we went on the 2nd part of our sightseeing tour. It included Candelaria, Santa Cruz (passing through), Las Teresitas, relict forests, La Laguna, Orotava (butterfly park, dragon tree, house with balconies... ), another World's End. All this with a bunch of stops at the most beautiful viewing platforms along the stunning beauty of the mountain road. There is no point in talking in detail - you need to see it. Relic forests, something magical, greenery of an unreal color, bearded mosses on trees with drops of water, silence and you can only hear how drops of water break. An absolute sense of wonder. We decided that if we return to Tenerife, we will definitely go along one of the walking routes of this forest. In general, the memory card was again barely enough!
5. Lemuryatnik and Siam. Lemur coop - an opportunity to hand-feed lemurs, small monkeys. They sit on your shoulders, on your knees, very calm. Sea of positive emotions! Again, on the advice of Olavi and Eike, we went in the morning and for good reason, when we left the park, all the lemurs had already eaten and slept! Siam is a water park, one of the largest in the world - that says it all. Of course, there are a lot of people, but the entertainment is worth it to stand in line!
6. Lanzarotte. The island of 300 dormant volcanoes. I liked the tour very much. The program is as follows: first, a short camel ride around the reserve, then lunch (hearty, but simple) and time for souvenirs in the restaurant shop (this is the only negative point, because the prices there are 2-3 times higher than in other shops. So it's better to buy souvenirs during other stops, but there is not enough time for this. ) After lunch - a tour of the Timanfaya reserve, almost all on the bus, but make small stops for photos. Beauty!! ! Lava of all colors: black, gray, red, purple, thanks to lichens in some places - green. Next, a trip to one of the main attractions of Lanzarote - the cave Cueva de los Verdes (Cueva de Los Verdes). This is the largest lava cave in the world - it stretches for 6 kilometers, some of its halls reach 24 meters wide and 15 meters high. Albino crustaceans also live there (they say that this is the only place on Earth where they live). At 18-45 departure to Tenerife. The tour is really interesting, the volcanic landscape is significantly different from the Teide, the impressions are completely different. I recommend it!!!

Thanks to everyone who had the patience to read to the end. I hope you find something useful and interesting for yourself. If Olavi and Eike visit this forum and read my opus, then once again THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE UNFORGETTABLE REST!!! ! I dare to leave the coordinates of Eike and Olavi eike@tenerifeinfo. eu tel. 34-663-38-42-52, - individual car tours around the island, a lot of valuable tips, tips and interesting stories.
