A man was sitting next to us with a bottle of wine for 100 euros. I drank wine in one snout. It was inconvenient - for him that he was drinking alone, for us - that we had empty glasses. Who needed it? A bottle of vodka for 150 euros, despite the fact that in the state. Alko chain store it costs, a maximum of 20 euros - this is rudeness. It would be better if it cost more for each, even if by another 50 euros (150 for a brother), but at least there was water and juices on the table. For all.

But what did they bring us? it was chopped lettuce and burnt breast and looked like pig mash (excuse me). In the supermarket, ready-made caesar was better and cheaper!
Breakfasts are the same. If something is over, until you kick it, they will not sniff. The level of the hotel is low for 4 stars does not pull. In Kyiv, the 3-star hotel "Rus" is an order of magnitude higher in ALL parameters, there is nothing to even compare.
Cleaning in the room was selective, not all garbage was taken out and cleaned so-so.
The reception staff understands Russian, but they all pretend that they do not know the language. This is explained by "great love" for our people.
Breakfast starts at 6! in the morning and ends at 10. On Saturday and Sunday it starts at 6:30 and ends at 10. When you are on vacation, you will agree that you do not always have the opportunity to come to the dining room before 10. In normal hotels (for example, in the "Rus" mentioned here), breakfast is until 11 am.
Inconvenient internet. To access the Internet, they gave cards for 12 hours, to connect it you need to spend up to 30 minutes! ! ! I have not seen this anywhere, and after the new year they took 2.5 euros for this card! ! .
Overseas mentality
The next "good" experience is the return trip from Tallinn by ferry.
Due to the fact that there is duty free on the ferry and we returned on Sunday, there were a lot of people, more precisely the Finnish working class, who stocked up on alcohol and got drunk right there. It was very disgusting to look at their drunk, stupid faces for 2 hours, given that the ferry was crowded, but thank God we managed to sit down.
Dates are very greedy, they cry with happiness when they are given alcohol (according to our guide)! ! ! This is a paragraph. They have a chain of Alco stores with a good selection and a normal level, at least for expensive brands of strong whiskey, rum, etc. . For example, a bottle of black rum "Captain Morgan" cost only 23 euros there. A good 12-year-old whiskey cost 35 euros. It's more expensive in Moscow, but a date will hang on than buy there, he will go to Tallinn for cheap alcohol, save 20 euros and be happy..... It's hard for us to understand. Besides, they don't like Russians very much.
The price level for food in the city is very high, a sandwich in an eatery costs 8 euros
. Transport costs are also high. There is nothing to buy in shopping centers, poor Finns have not even seen normal things and products at adequate prices.
The Crown Plaza Hotel positions itself as a SPA hotel, but the prices are higher in Moscow and lower. Also unpleasantly surprised sauna included in the price. She is not monitored and, as a result, her temperature in her often drops to unacceptable 90 degrees. To keep warm, the people splash water on the stones every minute, which generally kills all the heat. The staff don't give a damn about it. The lady at the sauna reception explained to me that the regulators were on her wall, and she simply took note of my complaint.
In general, the town is small, there is nothing special to see there. For everything about everything, it takes one day, well, two, if with museums. There is no old city, as in Tallinn or Riga, and never has been. I don’t know how it used to be, but this winter the snow was not removed at all. The central Mannerheim Avenue is littered with snowdrifts.
On it on both sides of the track for cars. Ice under the snow. He personally helped push out a truck that was stalling near the hotel in an attempt to leave the surrounding area. Neither winter tires nor the efforts of the driver helped. Ice is ice. Well, nothing, Russian people - pushed into the buildup along with a group of our compatriots.
On January 1, not a single store, not a single cafe is open - NOTHING. It's good that we arrived early and managed to pack some juices and food before that. Those who arrived on the 30th and 31st immediately after NG, which I really want to eat, but nowhere. Only in a hotel with non-child prices (normal meal - 30-40 euros).
Not everything is so bad.
The best impression from a trip to Finland : ) is Tallinn : ). I think we will go back there. Good people, pleasant, cozy, positive city. Excellent cuisine and prices are lower, good service cannot be compared with the Finns.
A trip on reindeer and dogs in a hangar near Helsinki (excursion "Lapland"), not super but so average, more or less.
