I decided to go to Finland for a few days. To be honest, the expectations from the trip were simple - in a short time to gain new impressions, unwind and change the situation.

Upon arrival in Helsinki, I was accommodated in the Sokos 4 hotel. It is convenient that it is in the center, not far from the railway. station. Spacious room, discreet and practical. The breakfast is good and was included in the price of the tour. There is a sauna in the hotel.

The second day was devoted to a sightseeing tour of the city. It was most interesting to visit the Cathedral, the Assumption Orthodox Cathedral and the Church in the rock.

I was struck by the Lutheran church, carved in a stone massif and in a modern style. Outwardly, the dome resembled a flying saucer, not even a close resemblance to the temple. Inside, the space is bounded in an interesting way by a wall of stone that arose naturally after the melting of the glacier, we were told. Inside, there is an ascetic atmosphere and excellent acoustics, it was even somehow awkward to talk. At the exit, I took cards with philosophical statements from the stand as a keepsake. You think about something, you pull out a card and immediately the answer...

The cathedral is interesting for its Byzantine style. Something reminded St. Isaac's in St. Petersburg....Dedicated to St. Nicholas. The Assumption Cathedral made of red brick impressed me with its grandeur... After lunch, I went to the Sirena water park. Too bad it was only half a day. I would love to spend a day there.

The water park has 7 pools, saunas, slides of various types, restaurants, bars. Those. you can come for the whole day and not go anywhere, as everything is on the territory for recreation. Approximately 20 km. from the center of Helsinki. I took a bus from the bus station.

At 12 o'clock the next day I left the hotel, left things at the station and shopping. There were 5 hours left before the train... I managed everything)). And take a walk and buy souvenirs and devote time to yourself. I recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see a lot in a short time. Only pleasant impressions remained.

Next time I want to go to the north of Finland to Lapland.
