Not even a story. Yes, note)

Good day, forum users. It so happened that I was in St. Petersburg for work, but not as long as last year (http://www.turpravda.com/fi/helsinki/blog-159944.html), which limited my trip to the Finns. Could only for one day - in Lapu (Lappeenranta). I looked at the sites - which cities are easier to go to (to be informative and inquisitive), it turned out - the closest option to Lappeenranta. Traveled through "electronic Finland". I liked the organization (curator - Lyubov) - they called several times, asked in advance about my wishes, reminded me of insurance (which I (. . . eh... old age)) forgot), the day before they reminded me of the place and time. The departure started optimally, but at the borders we stood for 3-3.5 hours. The entrance to the Finns was through Disa*s with the famous pine tree in stone. I had a bite of fish soup with cream (nostalgic).

about Disa*s

Then to the town itself, they explained where the meeting was and - in free swimming. Walked up and down. It was not possible to get lost - people helped, explained, even drew a map). The town is small, low-rise, clean).

There are shopping centers (Kristina), markets - Lidl, Prizma. . . I ran to Saiman Lake, there was some kind of action: teams of young people walked in bright and funny pants, someone was with children's circles around their necks. The teams either prepared for the competition, or waited out the pause - they trained sports))

A lake under the ice, it can be seen that it is large. In the center of the city there is a park area with graves. The atmosphere in the town is somehow calm, nowhere in a hurry.

I went just for the soul, without any special long-term goals.

The people on the bus (by the way, there were almost 50 people) stocked up to the fullest (for some reason, I had associations with shuttles because of the large number of bags and interconnected packages). I don't judge. Everyone went for themselves.

Sighed. The trip turned out to be not too informative - there was no ready-made excursion, there was not enough time for independent walking. I don't regret "my walk". Next time I will choose other cities, as it was with Prague and Helsinki - first with a tour, then - independent trips)
