This is the most horrible and disgusting hotel I've ever seen. Even though I had paid 100% in advance for a special offer two months in advance, they simply wouldn't let me in. Even though my reservation was confirmed, the hotel manager, Mohammed, simply kicked me out, saying that prices like these weren't even possible in Istanbul.

This is the most horrible and disgusting hotel I've ever seen. Even though I had paid 100% in advance for a special offer two months in advance, they simply wouldn't let me in. Even though my reservation was confirmed, the hotel manager, Mohammed, simply kicked me out, saying that prices like these weren't even possible in Istanbul. It's hard to call it a hotel; it's more like a dive. There are no amenities, cockroaches are crawling around the room, the bed linens are gray, dingy, and full of holes. In the bathroom, for the first time in my life, I saw that the sink flush was going into a bucket instead of the drain. The shower is broken (too bad I can't attach photos). There are no toiletries. You could catch any kind of infection overnight. Basically, nothing good.
