It was noisy at night when people returned from the parties, but almost every night we walked ourselves, so those who are looking for silence, probably not in this hotel. The room is good, for the money normal furniture and repairs. Breakfast is standard as elsewhere, we stayed at the hotel 2 times for dinner, the rest of the days went outside the hotel, the restaurant chose national French dishes.

The hotel administration is unlikely to help, if only you are lucky and get into a shift where a friendly young man works. In fact, there are only three porters: aunt-Motya, 60 years old and bald: BOTH do not like their work, they are unfriendly, it seems that they are serving a sentence by the people's court and hate tourists))), well, the above-mentioned friendly young man.
The central location has a downside: some of the windows overlook the restaurant-veranda, which guarantees your participation in the party all the time the restaurant is open, regardless of whether you want it or not))), and when the veranda stops working, the torches are extinguished, and you can continue to enjoy the burning, stretching from the torches to your windows, and the feeling of a holiday does not leave you for a long time!
From 2 to 4 a. m. you can again immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a holiday, especially if you sleep lightly: along the main street, on which the hotel is favorably located, Chamonix guests return through holes after a night out, the open veranda of the restaurant along the route is an extremely convenient place to say to each other what they didn’t manage to do during the evening, sing a lullaby loudly and emotionally, or just shout “good night! ” to each other! sometimes even a little overbearing. You will be pleasantly surprised and will be able, being in the room, to be in the party and the topic at the same time, regardless of your desire)))
Well, the most piquant moment, which the hotel does not write about on the website: THEY STEAL IN THE HOTEL. In fact, it turns out that the administration is not responsible for the things left in the hotel, “THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM AND YOUR PROPERTY, ” the administration’s response, and technically creates favorable conditions for theft (rooms with luggage and equipment are located next to the additional exit, the passage and entrance from the streets are free, bypassing the reception).
Be careful, do not leave things unattended, if you decide to stay at this hotel, take a special person with you: you ride and relax, he guards your things. ))) Do not follow the rules of the hotel regarding the requirements for your things, do not leave things in the ski-room, storage compartment, well, I'm afraid that there may be problems in the room.
Chamonix itself is a wonderful town, the theft of ski boots, boorish behavior and the reaction of the administration could not spoil the impression of the rest and the atmosphere of the resort!

" According to the guide, we realized that the hotel has a bad reputation among companies, since all left/forgotten/stolen items are NOT returned and the owner of the hotel does not care.
The impression of the rest was greatly spoiled.
The hotel administration behaves in a boorish way, they absolutely do not consider tourists. They are arrogant, impudent and rude.
