The hotel was ugly, worse than my husband and I have ever seen. Firstly, the bottom was very rocky, I had to buy aquasocks for 6 euros. The TV didn't work in the whole hotel. Our shower didn't have a curtain, so water was constantly flooding the floor. Наш так называемый пляж Жуткий телевизор , который ни у кого в отеле не работал.

I can not help but share my impressions of the rest, because it turned out to be dangerous for health. I rested with my wife and a 5-year-old child, got a room on the 1st floor - small, dirty, with mold, there were no towels, glasses in the bathroom, toilet paper - at our request they brought only paper, five towels for three, and for 12 days they never changed to clean ones! The rooms had to be demanded to be cleaned - they could simply forget about us, and even the furniture was moved away so that everything would be washed for us, but it simply moved into place, leaving dirt in its place. … More ▾ I can not help but share my impressions of the rest, because it turned out to be dangerous for health. The rooms had to be demanded to be cleaned - they could simply forget about us, and even the furniture was moved away so that everything would be washed for us, but it simply moved into place, leaving dirt in its place. There was no dryer for clothes, as well as radiators in the bathroom. Complained every day. The food is the same: fried eggs for breakfast, cucumber, tomato, full-fat yogurt, yesterday's potatoes (all that was left from dinner), cheap coffee. Soup appeared for dinner, some salad, stewed vegetables, goulash (2 times), pasta, chicken pieces, fish was given for the whole holiday once (fried in flour), rotten apricots from fruits, jelly for dessert. The dishes were often dirty, you had to ask for everything. The playground is a bursting plastic slide, standing in the sun in splendid isolation.
Of the pluses - a working air conditioner, a nearby beach, although the sunbeds in the amount of 20 pieces were constantly occupied, at the reception they took a deck chair on bail for the whole vacation (then we returned these 10 euros). Having bought something in a bar at a nearby hotel for 1.5 euros per person, it was possible to take a sunbed during the day for free. There are simply NO discos and entertainment in the village! Very boring. Think before you go to this unsanitary environment and to the beach with a lot of hedgehogs.

It was a difficult year for us, we worked a lot with my husband, and therefore, taking the children, we went on vacation. On the flight we were offered lunch and drinks. I would like to note that we flew with Ellinair. A very decent airline, albeit a small one. The flight attendants were attentive and courteous, thanks to them for that.
At the airport, we were met by Mouzenidis group employees, escorted to the bus, which brought us to the village of Gerakini, to the Sithonia Village hotel. As for the hotel, I can say: no luxury, well-groomed territory, clean rooms and very friendly staff. I especially want to mention a young man named Lorenzo, who works in a restaurant. We felt his care throughout the rest.
With small children, we didn’t want to take excursions, we’ll wait until they grow up, but we rented a car. We traveled around the area - it's a very beautiful place.
In the capital of Chalkidiki, Poligiro, which is located among the mountains (later we learned from the hotel guide that this mountain range is called Holomonda), we visited the archaeological museum, but it is not big and there are few exhibits, but in Thessaloniki such a museum is worth seeing. Visiting museums for children under 18 is free, it seems to me that this is not the case in any country in the world.
And in Mudanya, this is a seaside town, we walked along the embankment and had lunch in a tavern by the sea. In the hotel we only have breakfast and dinner, which is very convenient, because in this way we are not tied to a place. The food at the hotel is quite varied, both for adults and for children.
For myself, I realized that if we have the opportunity to come to Greece next year, then I will choose this hotel again!

I hasten to share with you my impressions of the vacation that we spent with our daughter in sunny Greece. Perhaps for someone my notes will help in choosing a hotel.
We rested at the beginning of July 2016 at the Sithonia Village hotel.
We flew with Ellin Air. No delays, everything is on schedule. We were very satisfied with the food and service on board the aircraft.
We were met at the airport, escorted to our transport and comfortably delivered to the hotel. We spent about 1 hour 30 minutes on the road.
At the reception, our hotel guide Larisa met us and helped with the check-in.
The hotel area is beautiful, green and well-groomed: olive trees, pines, flowering plants.
Our room was very simple but cozy at the same time. You don’t need a lot to relax, I think - they came to the sea to swim, and not to sit in a room.
The room is furnished with everything you need: two beds, a wardrobe, a TV with Russian and Greek channels, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a bathroom equipped with a shower and a toilet. Room cleaning was carried out regularly, and bed linen was changed every 3 days, but if they asked on their own to change or report soap, for example, to the bathroom, they never refused.
At the reception there is a safe, the rent of which cost us only 5 euros for all 15 days.
Meals are standard. There was no particular abundance of various goodies, but we were never hungry. Meat, fish, side dishes, barbecue, salads, vegetables, fruits, desserts are always available. My daughter and I additionally bought various fruits near the beach: cherries, watermelons, peaches (approximately 1.5 euros per kilogram).
The beach at the hotel is good, clean, without stones and slabs. The entrance is gentle, uniform. The Aegean Sea is just a fairy tale! Clean, warm, transparent. Sometimes fish swam up to the shore and tickled us on the legs. It turned out such a fish therapy for free.
A little to the left is the city beach, which has sunbeds, umbrellas, music and a small beach bar. You can order a frappe (Greek iced coffee) for 3.5 euros and your sunbed for the whole day. A lot of locals come to this beach with children, but there was always enough space and it was clean. The Greeks, unlike ours, take out the garbage with them.
Went a couple of times to taste traditional Greek cuisine. In the village of Gerakina, in fact, on the territory where the hotel is located, there are small taverns. Reasonable prices (up to 10 euros per dish). Nice atmosphere, tasty and fresh food. We ordered seafood, salad and wine. Dinner cost about 20 euros.
Through the hotel guide Larisa went to Meteora. I liked it very much! I advise everyone! These are sheer cliffs, which, as the Greeks say, “soar in the clouds”, and on their tops there are monasteries. We also visited the icon-painting workshop and several viewing platforms. Left with very good impressions. We would like to thank the guide Konstantin for accompanying the tour, wonderful presentation of information and courtesy. We also went to Thessaloniki on our own by bus to buy souvenirs and, in general, see what the city is like. One-way fare - 7.5 euros by public transport. A beautiful Greek city, rich in history and architecture.
15 days of our vacation passed very quickly, but I want to return to this place again. We were pleasantly impressed by the hospitable Greeks, the Mediterranean climate and the Aegean Sea.

In May 2016, I rested with my husband at the Sithonia Village Hotel 3 *. Overall, I enjoyed my holiday very much. We planned to rest in an inexpensive budget hotel and our expectations were met. Despite the fact that the hotel is an economy class, however, we did not feel it in any way. Very welcoming and friendly staff, and since the hotel is not big, everyone knows each other by name.
We were met upon arrival by a representative of the travel company with which we are traveling not for the first time, the hotel guide Larisa is a very sensitive and friendly woman. She told us about the territory of the hotel about all the nuances, about the town in which the hotel was located. We all heard about excursions when we were driving from the airport, so we immediately turned to Larisa with a desire to go on some of them! After all, the whole vacation to sit in a hotel is very difficult, you need to study the place where you are for the first time!
As for the territory of the hotel itself: it is small, throughout the territory there are houses of two floors, all white with blue accents, typical of the Greek style. In the middle of these houses there is, as it were, a large garden alley. And the sea is generally within walking distance, even when you drive up to the hotel by bus, you can immediately see the sea incredibly close. Sandy beach, when entering the sea, only a few stones. The water is clear, turquoise. And the location of this hotel right in the town of Gerakini gives it great advantages. In the evening you can go out and walk around this settlement, there are many taverns, various shops (supermarkets and souvenir shops), in general, the place is quite lively.
The rooms were cleaned daily and very carefully, we were very surprised that in a three-star hotel they keep cleanliness so well! Meals in a special dining room at the Reception, no frills, but quite varied. For breakfast, various hot dishes were also given: eggs in different variations, pastries and cold ones: yogurt, sweets, jams. For dinner there were always the main local dishes, side dishes, salads and appetizers, and of course, several types of Greek olives, here they are delicious in their own way! As for the room, ours was all in white, as is customary in traditional Greek houses, although this confused me a little at first, because it looked very cold. Our accommodation was Double Standard. It was there: 2 shifted single beds, a TV with a Russian channel, air conditioning, of course, a refrigerator, in general, all the amenities were provided in full. I want to talk about cleanliness in the hotel and in the room again and again, we constantly changed towels and changed bed linen twice a week. Even the bath felt always clean and fresh. But, keep in mind that the hotel does not have animation, so if you are traveling with children, then the main activity for them will be walking in the garden on the playground, or swimming in the sea. In general, the hotel is perfect for an economical and relaxing holiday. Soulful hotel and staff!

I chose this hotel when we were going to visit the wonderful region of Chalkidiki for the second time. The first time we were on Kasandra, we traveled to many interesting places, so the second time we decided to examine the second finger of the trident. We were amazed at how different these regions are from each other. As they say in all the reviews of this hotel, the beach there is really fine fine sand, a pleasant entry into the sea, just super. 100 meters to the beach is completely invisible. Most importantly, sunbeds and umbrellas are free. Good varied food. Good place to stay with kids!
Medium speed internet and only at the reception.

This year, the choice fell on the Chalkidiki peninsula, not far from the city of Thessaloniki. Our hotel is called Sithonia Village, 3*. I want to say right away that for those for whom the quality service and infrastructure of the hotel are the primary factors when choosing, this hotel loses a little. But that doesn't mean it's bad! For example, we are serious
We are thinking of going back there. The area is small, quite landscaped, nice to walk on a hot day. The room is small, simply furnished; the furniture is new and good. Our food was like breakfast / dinner, and we went to lunch in neighboring taverns. Most of all, we liked one tavern on the coast: they cook delicious food there, and you can take sunbeds for the beach for a drink, since, frankly, there are not enough of them on the beach at the hotel. The sea is very warm, clean, sandy entrance, a spit of algae and stones goes a little further, and then sand again. Our vacation was planned for 2 weeks: a week of the sea, a week of excursions. Our guide Larisa, a wonderful woman, helped with any questions that arose, a very sympathetic girl Maria also works at the reception. The holiday went very well, leaving only pleasant memories.

Tomatoes with a green core. From fruits - watermelons every other day. In general, there was something. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. 10 sun loungers tied with a chain. The owner did not bother much with the improvement of his part of the beach. Guests can also relax in other places. We rested under the olive trees in the nearby hotel Aphrodite, where we dined. Many thanks to his owner and son Alexander. Also many thanks to the hotel guide Larisa.

The territory is small and well-groomed. We had two meals a day: breakfast/dinner. Everything is very modest, but, nevertheless, we did not leave hungry. The sea, as for Sithonia, did not inspire us, but there was no such horror as we expected after reading the reviews. The entrance is normal, sand, grass a little further, but, again, not everything is as terrible as described above. There are not enough sun loungers, it's true; we bought our umbrella and lay on the sand. Evenings are boring, since there are no normal bars and cafes in the village of Gerakini itself; but there are many taverns, and in each (! ) they cook perfectly! I recommend to try. Almost every day we went on excursions, thanks to the guide Larisa for her help in purchasing excursions: Meteora, Blue Lagoon, Jeep Safari. We also wanted to take Athens, but the bus tour is long, and the air trip was a bit out of our plans; but now we know that we have a reason to return. The hotel is modest, old, but well maintained and it is clear that the staff is trying to help, to solve any situation! Thanks Larissa for your help! We will definitely be back next year, but we will look for a busier place.

We decided that it is better to entrust the choice of the tour to professionals who know their business. Since we work in the public sector, the financial possibilities were quite modest. At the office, we were advised to purchase a ticket to the Sithonia Village hotel, immediately warning that the hotel was family-type, very calm and without a pool. We actually weren't interested in the pool, but thanks to the manager for being quite objective about the hotel. It is not often in our time that you can meet people who tell the whole truth about their product. Upon arrival in Thessaloniki, we were very friendly met by the company's employees right at the airport, and we quickly got on the bus. The road to the hotel took a little over an hour (other tourists were brought to hotels, otherwise it would be much faster), while we were not at all bored, such beauties were torn off in front of us by the Greek landscape. It should be noted that our arrival was quite early. We got to the hotel around 9:00 local time. We were met by two employees of the company, Elena and Larisa, who, it should be noted, during the entire time of our stay, always helped in solving our sometimes comical problems.
Actually, the room itself, which we got was quite modest, no frills, but we understood that we were not eating in a 5 or 4 star hotel. At a meeting with the company's employees, we were told quite informatively about our living conditions at the hotel, the peculiarities of Greek life and, of course, about excursion programs. Frankly, at first we were not going on any excursions, it was a dream to just lie in the sun and swim. However, after two days of our beach holiday, the weather in Greece deteriorated somewhat. It started to rain. Of course, at first we were very upset. And that's when we remembered the excursions. The very next day, in the morning, we approached Elena and asked her to tell us in more detail about the excursion directions and possible options.
And yet, if you are afraid to stay hungry, because. meals only breakfast and dinner, don't worry, in the town (3 minutes from the hotel) there are very economical and delicious taverns. We got dinner for four for 15 euros. We took complex lunches, which include soup, salad, a second course and a drink, as well as a dessert (a gift from the chef), taking into account the size of the portion, they cost two at 7.50 euros each. Be sure to try the fish mix at Pavel's tavern (to the right of the hotel) and the moussaka at La scala tavern (to the left of the hotel)!! ! Amazingly tasty and very nicely priced, a bit more expensive than set meals, but it's worth it.
I told what I felt myself. Overall, my wife and I, as well as our friends, enjoyed our Greek holidays.
