Rested in this hotel as a couple 3-17 September 2011. Pretty big room, freshly refurbished. A good "four", a clean, well-groomed area with a patio, which is a rarity in Salou. Sea water pool. The hotel is located a little away from the main mass of Salou hotels (most 3 *), so the beach (it is across the road from the hotel) is the freest from the port to Cap Salou. The beach is wide, clean, with the finest golden sand, which is sieved every night. The sea is quite calm, the entrance is very gentle (ideal for children, but to swim at a depth - it's a long way to go : -) Excellent restaurant, Thursdays are fish days. A lot of fruits. Drinks at lunch and dinner are paid. Efficient staff, good cleaning in the room, towels are changed every day, bedding - 1 time in three days. Not far from the hotel there is a bus stop "Port Salou", from which you can go anywhere: Cambrils (if you do not cross the road, from the villas), Tarragona, Barcelona, PortAventura, etc. (in the other direction).
Of the minuses: there are two beds in the room and a shelf nailed to the wall between them, but the beds can be moved away from the wall, moved and twisted their legs with tape bought at a nearby store. : -) If the maid covers 2 mattresses with 1 sheet, it becomes just perfect ( Mattresses just lie on the bed and are not fixed).
In the shower, for some reason, there is a glass door, and not a wall, so sometimes it becomes completely wet if you splash in it intensively. For breakfast, there are no cereals, from dairy - yogurt and cereal with milk (hot or cold). In general, breakfasts are rather monotonous, as usual in Europe: eggs, bacon, beans, sandwiches, etc. Sometimes (on weekends) queues for seating at the restaurant at a certain time.
Expensive sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, which are also taken away exactly at 18.00 - it's easier to buy a mat for 1-2 euros and an umbrella in shops.
In principle, all the shortcomings of the hotel are not critical, if you only come there to sleep and eat. Evening animation we did not see, because. entertained themselves (traveled a lot, walked, swam at night). They say it is mostly in Spanish + a little bit of English. lang.

We rested in the fall, so maybe that's why we didn't encounter queues in the restaurant and Internet access, the rudeness of the staff and the noise from the street... On the contrary, it was unusually quiet for resort places, the staff was polite and friendly. The room was ok with a kitchenette which is very convenient.

The hotel is located next to beautiful singing fountains. In my opinion one of the best hotel locations in Salou.

The tables are half empty! The kid cried, then they just skipped breakfast. It’s unpleasant, but I don’t want to conflict on vacation. We rested in blaumar from June 26 to July 3. What is in the pictures does not correspond to reality. The rooms are very narrow, the playground, which is on the site of the hotel, does not belong to it and is located 300 meters on the public beach. It is forbidden to swim in the pool with your own swimming mattresses - the pool is populated like an anthill, because. The hotel consists of several buildings. Internet - only downstairs and no seats. The administration says that if they didn’t take it, then it’s not fate... Breakfast... asked to be seated by the window with the child... - they pointed us to their place in life, yelled at the child. After that he was afraid to go to breakfast. In general, if you look for at least some plus in the hotel - this is the location. Although the glass doors to the balcony are also not joyful to open - the Spaniards are wonderful people, but emotions at 2 o'clock in the morning do not let you sleep under the balcony. The hotel is recessed inside like a funnel - so any screams are intensified, and the screams of Spanish women passing along the hotel are very piercing...

There are about 9 types of fruits alone: watermelon, melon, cherry, strawberry, peaches, etc. Walk a little and you are already on the street, where there are bars, disco and shops. All rooms are spacious with decent balconies overlooking the sea, the pool or the quiet street. Twin rooms have 2 separate beds, so most couples push them together and tie them with rope to keep the beds from moving apart on the tiled floor.

Twin rooms have 2 separate beds, so most couples push them together and tie them with rope to keep the beds from moving apart on the tiled floor. The rooms have good air conditioning. In our room, linen and towels were changed regularly, and our friends, who lived on the floor above, had linen and towels changed only a week later, when they asked at the reception.
The disadvantages of the restaurant - the food is not very diverse, sometimes there were dirty knives and plates, there is no salt and spices on the tables (only for general use at the buffet). Breakfast does not include scrambled eggs or fried eggs, only boiled eggs, muesli with milk, sliced cheese, ham and sausages (not always tasty), muffins and cookies that you can buy in any supermarket. Meat and fish are served every day for lunch and dinner, but the meat is not tasty, either undercooked, rubbery, or with a specific smell of local oil, soups are mostly from bags. For breakfast there was very tasty coffee and always a great selection of fruits: watermelons, melons, pineapples, grapes, etc. Every Friday the restaurant serves a gala dinner with a large selection of seafood.
