I rested with my husband at the Alexandros Palace Hotel. The children gave us a ticket for our 25th wedding anniversary. We didn't even really know where we were going. Upon arrival, it turned out that Athos. Lovely girls met us at the airport, accompanied us on the way, told us about Greece. Now I at least know that there is such a peninsula of Halkidiki. Upon arrival, we were also met and settled in a new building! View of the pool there. In general, an ordinary standard room with a bed, TV, fridge. Liked the food too. You can choose whatever you want, for every taste and color. My husband and I especially liked the Greek yogurt with honey. It's a pity you won't find it in Russia. In general, we are not picky people, brought up in Soviet times, so we were happy with everything. Of the excursions, we went only to Thessaloniki to the holy places. A very eventful trip, by the end of the day we were really tired. After all, they visited both the city and the suburbs. The most important thing for us is that we visited the grave of Elder Paisios. Our guide was very good! She created such a spiritual atmosphere, the whole group seemed to be a single whole. In terms of nature, Athos is a very beautiful place. These mountains, olive groves, wonderful air. We liked the beach - go close to it, there is an underground passage. The hotel itself is also quiet, family run. So a big thank you to our children for finally being in Greece.
