In mid-September it is still warm +28, sea +25. when we were leaving - on September 16 - it began to get colder, the wind blew. there are many car rental agencies near the hotel (we took it - we did not regret it), a supermarket, cafes. From Hersonissos 2 km - by bus 15 minutes to go. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel exit. The only prices for excursions bite - we preferred to take a car and drive around the island (We went to Rethymnon and to a fresh lake nearby).

The animation is calm, do not expect parties from this hotel, but you can go to Herosonises for other entertainment. We went there on a 3-hour free bus, returning on foot in the evening. We went on excursions to the Palace of Knossos and the Cretan evening. The Cretan evening was really impressive, I advise. In general, I really liked the rest, the hotel worked out its 4 stars. You should not expect luxury from Crete, they have a different culture, a peculiar one, which also needs to be felt.

The main and big minus is the presence of huge boulders in the water, it is only in the prospectus that they write a sandy beach, in fact, the sand is only on the shore and in the sea a little further stones. My daughter received a head injury in the sea on the third day of rest, almost next to the shore, they also ran to the doctors.
2. The absence of a private beach, and where we were brought it was difficult to call a beach without sunbeds and under the open sun. The only way out was to go to the territory of someone else's hotel where there were sun loungers and umbrellas, but we were kicked out of there three times.

I recommend this hotel to couples, very calm and friendly hotel. Beautiful green area with lots of palm trees and shrubs. It is better to ask for a bungalow closer to the pool, it will be more convenient, otherwise you can get lost because the area is large enough. The hotel is also suitable for young couples who are not thirsty for adrenaline and crazy parties, in general, for relaxation.
