Good day!
My wife and I went to Crete in early May 2014. A year has already passed, so I decided to write a review about last year's vacation for the new holiday season. We rested at the Aldemar Knossos Royal hotel.
The hotel is good, with a large territory. The food is chic, a great variety, and the chef speaks Russian, which was a pleasant surprise. For breakfast: pancakes, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with and without ham, salads, vegetables, fruits, cereals and muffins, cereals, sausages and ham, cheese, mushrooms. Sometimes our breakfast dragged on for an hour or twenty hours, in order to master all the abundance of goodies.

In the evenings, there was animation, and we also took 2 excursions (History of Civilization and Unexplored Crete) from our hotel guide Ekaterina, and did not regret it a bit. Everything was at the highest level: organization, work of guides, food, etc. The only negative is that wi-fi did not catch well in our room, which we complained to our hotel guide, and she immediately responded, reported to the reception, and the hotel solved this problem. I don't know how, but the internet worked better. The hotel is good, the island is very beautiful, but without excursions you will not really understand anything. It's better to go with a guide. And so, we are very pleased.
