Just returned. Rested for 10 days as a family, two adults and a child of 8 years. The system is all inclusive, we had air conditioning for free. Pluses - in this hotel they know you by sight, friendly atmosphere, friendly, friendly staff who treat you sincerely. Very clean, they change the bed every 2-3 days, the room is cleaned every day and it's not just a rag, but a thorough one. It is located normally for a triple - walk to the sea for about 10 minutes along a street with shops. Internet is free in the lobby. The food was homemade, there was not much variety, but it was very tasty and there is always a choice anyway, a lot of fruits and vegetables. Small but very clean pool. Convenient location if you want to travel around the island and 20 minutes drive from the airport. Located in a typical Cretan village, quite picturesque. A quiet place is not for everyone, of course. Cons (relative) - modest rooms, but fresh renovation, plumbing is in good condition, small in size, a safe for an additional fee (it is in the room) and this one looks too simple and very tiny. The beach, as for Crete, is very average - a narrow strip of sand and there are many places where there are stones in the sea. Often a storm.
Very good if you plan to drive around the island by renting a car. We are Peugeot 107 for 120 Euro 5 days. In this agency, you can bargain, make concessions.
