We just returned from the Ntanelis hotel (in Greece everyone calls it Danelis). My husband and I have been in this hotel since 18.06. 13 to 25.06. thirteen.

About the hotel: the hotel is worth its 2*, even 2*+. The rooms are small but clean (cleaning was done every day, towels were changed 1 time for 3 days, the bed was changed 1 time for 7 nights). True, everything is in the style of the 80-90s. We had a pool view room with some sea views. The area is small but very green, a lot of trees (ficuses, pomegranates, Christmas trees, etc. ). The staff is very responsive and friendly. There were two Russian-speaking girls.

About food: We had ALL inc. Breakfasts were meager 2 types of sausage (the same all 7 days not very tasty) 1 type of cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers (not the most delicious, but they are in almost all hotels), natural yogurt, a couple of types of cereal and milk, once they gave scrambled eggs, sometimes they gave pancakes and to them marmalade and chocolate, ordinary cookies and some kind of nat. pastries. The coffee is disgusting!
For lunch there was 1 type of meat and two types of side dishes (potatoes, rice, pasta) + stewed vegetables, there was a salad table (cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, onions, + two or three types of ready-made salad, olive oil and vinegar). For dinner there were more food options 2-3 seeing meat, casseroles, stewed vegetables. The meat was different: pork, lamb chicken. There was even a pork kebab for lunch one time. Three times there was fish (fried or stewed). Some dishes were very tasty and gladly took the addition. But there is one minus - the chef loves cinnamon very much as a spice, and pours it into some dishes (potatoes, meat, salads, etc. ), but for dinner you could find a dish without cinnamon : )))))) we didn't have any stomach problems, everything was fresh and edible. From fruits they gave a couple of times watermelon, melon, and oranges (and then only oranges for lunch). At ALL inc they were given beer (German bottled), 2 types of wine, water, cola, sprite, rake throughout the day.
If you have HB, then for dinner, any drink for money - even water.

Location: The hotel is located in the small village of Analipsi, a very quiet village, there are quite a few taverns, cafes, a pizzeria (right next to the hotel). Walk 5-7 minutes to the beach. The beach is public (sand) in some places at the entrance there are a lot of stones (we had special shoes, it helped out a lot) sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach paid cost about 6 euros. There is a lot of space on the beaches, but sometimes there are strong waves, there is one calm bay on the right side of the hotel. There are a couple of shops in the village where you can buy cheap food and water (still water 1 liter approximately 0.5 euros). You can eat in a tavern per person for 5-10 euros. The village is very quiet. If you want an active night's rest, then you need to visit the neighboring town of Chersonissus. It can be reached by public transport in 1.

6 per person, often goes to the bus stop (No. 16, it is located in the outback of the village) there is a schedule, but it does not correspond to reality, this is normal for Greece. In general, there are a lot of buses and they run every 15-20 minutes. You can rent a car - from 20 euros for a matis (check with the seller for all the details - insurance, mileage, etc. ) but we traveled around the island by public transport. Were in Heraklion - from Analipsis 2.4 euros per person, in Ag. Nikolaus (I liked it very much) for 4.2 per person.

Since we paid 460 euros for a last minute ticket for two people from Lviv (we bought a ticket less than 24 hours before the plane's departure), everything suited us. They were very pleased. This hotel is worth the money.
