The rooms are spacious, stylishly furnished and well cleaned. The hotel staff is very helpful and attentive. Special thanks to the head waiter Sakis for the positive mood and good appetite throughout the rest, as well as the reception staff for their smiles and understanding. The hotel does not have Russian speaking staff, but
thanks to the presence of a representative of the tour operator, this problem is easily
is being decided. The food was quite good, everything was delicious.
The only comment - I would like more fruit. The beach is great
the sea is clean and calm. We did not take umbrellas in the beach bar, but
bought in a supermarket, it turned out more economical. In general, the hotel lived up to our
best expectations.

Excursions from ?
ouzenidis is more expensive than in travel agencies in the village, but
tour guides are highly qualified and educated people. We
chose a historical excursion to Mount Olympus and the monasteries of Meteor. One
in a word, a fairy tale! We have no regrets about the money spent. Our
the guide, Dimitris Papadopoulos, led both of these excursions. From him we learned
a lot of new information about ancient Macedonia and the life of monks in Greece. Huge
Thank you ? ? uzenidis and San Panteleimon for a nice and long lasting
memorable holiday!

The hotel is located on the Panteleimonas embankment. We booked a bungalow, which, as it turned out, is located in lush greenery, flowers and with amazing views of the mountains. A little story about the decoration of the room: the furniture is all new, the necessary utensils, a kettle, a TV with a Russian channel, there are also English and Greek channels, the child really liked watching cartoons familiar to him in an unknown language. Perhaps, for some, the absence of a curtain in the shower will seem like a big minus, but for us it was an insignificant trifle, which we compensated with a foot towel, issued additionally without any problems. Cleaning was carried out daily, change of linen every three days, all the necessary personal hygiene items in abundance.
The hotel staff was very pleased, sincere people with a sincere smile and a kind Greek heart, ready to accept you as a real family member. Although the staff is not Russian-speaking, but knowing a couple of phrases in Greek, English will easily help you to express yourself. I would like to mention the chef, a young guy, but such a great master of his craft, every day he pleased with a variety of dishes.
There is no animation in the hotel, and it is not needed because there are so many amazing sights around. Evening walks to the castle of Platamonas, the old village of Pallos Panteleimonos, the majestic Olympus, invite you to wander and feel like a piece of ancient Hellas, but if you want to plunge into the Greek night life with many discos and bouzouki, then the village of Platamonas is waiting for you.
My family was completely delighted with the holiday. The hotel, the localities, the region of Pieria made our acquaintance with Greece unforgettable. We really loved this place for such a short vacation and will definitely come back here more than once.

To my great surprise, I have no significant comments or complaints about this hotel, given that my husband and I have already seen quite a few countries and hotels. We lived as a family in a standard room where there were three beds, plasma, air conditioning, refrigerator, chairs, bedside tables and a chest of drawers with a mirror. The quality of Wi-Fi was very pleased, the Internet flew throughout the hotel, at any time of the day. Everything was new, clean, neat and reliable. And to cling to, so to speak, there is nothing special.
In the room we had a large balcony overlooking the stunning Olympus. And in the evenings, my husband and I liked to drink retsina and enjoy the lights of the villages located on the slopes of Olympus. Five minutes from the hotel there is a nice sandy beach with clean clear water, we spent most of the time on the beach, and in the late afternoon we could relax a bit, sit in a bar, enjoy traditional Greek music, food and drinks. The hotel has a spacious swimming pool, bar, restaurant. You can agree on the food bill, my child is allergic to many foods and therefore he needed special food, they responded positively to my request for a separate meal, we sat down with the restaurant administrator and compiled a special menu for my daughter, so everything is ok in this matter. Our Greek summer went off with a bang, we recommend this nice and very cozy hotel to everyone.

I got room 301 - a standard room on the fourth floor with a view of the mountains (or the "entertainment center", as many people call it - the slot machine room across the street from the hotel). The room opens onto the elevator lobby. An ordinary wooden door sways from any draft in the corridor. The decor in the room is almost spartan, back in the 70s style - whitewashed walls, a minimum of outdated creaky furniture, a tiny refrigerator rolling on the tiled floor. … More ▾ I got room 301 - a standard room on the fourth floor with a view of the mountains (or the "entertainment center", as many people call it - the slot machine room across the street from the hotel). The decor in the room is almost spartan, back in the 70s style - whitewashed walls, a minimum of outdated creaky furniture, a tiny refrigerator rolling on the tiled floor. There is not a single piece of paper in the room - no business card with an address, no information about the hotel and the rules of residence, no telephone directory (with internal phones). There was only one outlet for the whole room, to which, from the situation, it was necessary to connect a TV and a refrigerator. In addition, it was also necessary to recharge the phone. On the other hand, there was an incredible number of switches located in some unknown way along the walls, some of which, it is not known what was supposed to turn on (or turn off). In the bathroom there was a pallet 0.5x0.5 m. Without a curtain. Water splashed over the entire area of the bathroom and then it had to be driven to the floor ladder with improvised means, because the floor slope was made away from the ladder to the walls.
Cleaned the room daily. For three. For the five days that I was, I was allocated one bottle of shower gel and shampoo, one bar of soap.
The room was strikingly different from what was advertised in the agency and from those photos with which the hotelier lures guests.
About food. Breakfasts and dinners are average. You won't be left hungry. I was struck by the lack of fruit at the end of July. The only fruit for dinner was watermelon. Everything. Watermelon every day. The area is full of taverns and shops, and if someone is not satisfied with the food in the hotel, you can eat somewhere in the village.
And about a relaxing holiday. At the same time as I, wild Polish pioneers were resting in the hotel. Children from 8 to 15 years old from morning to evening run screaming through the corridors, stairs, ride the elevator, rush into the rooms of their friends, etc. with a roar. And their pioneer leader - a strong comrade who overate anabolics - at this time bawls songs to the guitar. Apparently there are two songs in the repertoire. The songs are some kind of endless - probably ballads. Rooms overlooking the pool should be able to hear the music played in the bar from morning to evening. In the rooms overlooking the mountains, I did not observe any too obvious noise from the "entertainment center", from the road, from the trains.
It should be noted that in general this village is a resort for local poor Greeks, because the area is full of campsites where they live in some kind of tents, tents and campers, and for residents of Eastern Europe - Russian, Polish, Serbian, Ukrainian speech is heard .
About the beach. In different reviews, there are different versions of the distance to it, I won’t say the distance in meters, but the timing of the video that I shot on the way from the hotel to the entrance to the beach is 2.5 minutes. It's not critical, really. The beach itself is not clean - a bunch of cigarette butts, pieces of paper, wrappers.
The beach is most likely bulk, of fine sand. The entrance to the water is pebbly, not always pleasant for walking. At the bottom there are quite large stones that you can stumble on.
Let's summarize all of the above. Hotel for very unpretentious tourists. If you choose suites or bungalows, then you might be lucky. Standard room, room for three or four people - for fans of extreme sports or those who want to remember the past. I do not recommend. For the money you can find much better deals.

The service here is top notch and the comfort is worth the money spent. So I can say with confidence that San Panteleimon deserves its full three stars. A large number of swallows live on the territory of the hotel, besides, you can watch their nests on many balconies, and the flora and fauna here are simply pleasing to the eye! I also want to note that this category of hotel is more suitable for a quiet family vacation. Well, our Greek summer went off with a bang, we recommend this cute and very cozy hotel to everyone!

We were not disappointed in the hotel, although for the first time we rested in a hotel of this category, before that 4 and 5 stars in Turkey and Egypt. The hotel is compact, but on the territory there is a large fresh water pool and a small restaurant for children. We went with half board, next to the hotel you can easily find where to eat. In the hotel itself, the food is average, everything is deliciously cooked, but rather monotonous and with Greek features, a lot of french fries, pasta, high-calorie food, you can’t really follow a diet here. The beach is sandy and pebbly in a three-minute walk, the sunset is pebbly, and on the beach itself there is sand, the entrance is already deep after 5 steps, sunbeds and umbrellas are provided if you buy some drink, we usually took frappe or freshly squeezed juice 2.5 euros. The beach is quite noisy, African-Americans are walking around with their services or goods. Our room was the most ordinary, the situation is quite modest, there is a refrigerator in the room, an old TV with Russian channels, air conditioning, there was no hair dryer, as explained at the reception, it is not allowed for our room category. The place is relatively quiet where the hotel is located, there is practically no animation, except for the Greek evening, but there is a restaurant and slot machines next to the hotel, if your windows face them, then it is noisy in the evening. And so the hotel is in a great location, there are beautiful mountain scenery around, near the Platamonas fortress, on excursions you can quickly get to Olympus, Vergina, a few hours to Meteora, or you can rent a car, as some vacationers did and visit these places yourself.

As for the area, it is really very small, calm, like a small village (for Pieria near the sea - this is a common picture). We were in September, there were few vacationers, but by the end of our stay the hotel was filled with tourists from sightseeing tours and at the same time there was enough food for everyone. The people did not crowd. The trays were changed on time, the service was good, they would bring some water, smile, pour it... In general, about the food, I can say that the breakfasts are a little monotonous, but you won’t stay hungry, and we certainly didn’t complain about dinners. I would give this hotel a 4* rating. I can't say enough bad things about the hotel and the staff. Very friendly and helpful, they always try to help, they know their stuff. In my opinion this is one of the best hotels in the area (value for money).
Not far from the hotel is the fortress of Platamon, it can be seen from the beach, you can go on an excursion there (in my opinion, 3 euros entrance). If you go even further (about 20 minutes walk) along the beach through the tunnel, you can reach the town of Platamonas, it is busier than the village around the hotel. Some of the vacationers even climbed the mountain in the village. Panteleimon, they said that they really liked it.
