At the beginning of June this year, my husband and 9-year-old son and I rested in Crete. The hotel was chosen carefully, after all, they were going to go with a child. Having collected a lot of reviews, we stopped at the Aquila Rithymna Beach 5 * hotel. Bought a tour in Natalie, flew Transaero. We booked a room in the main building with a sea view.

I immediately liked the room, spacious, bright, fresh like this (we were told at the agency, the hotel was recently renovated). We settled in, changed clothes and went to explore the surroundings. The area is large and green, with lots of trees, including palm trees that look like giant pineapples.

On the territory, in addition to our central building, to the right, two-story bungalows stretch along the beach. (Why bungalows? There is nothing Bengali in them, they are just pretty Mediterranean houses))), and luxury cottages with private pools. There is also a second line of houses with windows overlooking the garden. Behind the entire residential area, inland from the sea, there are pools.
The main one is huge, although the hotel was quite full, there were no shipwrecks. But we gave preference, of course, to swimming in the sea. I don’t really understand those who travel to distant lands to dip in the pool, there are enough of them in Moscow. It's another matter if it's a stormy day (there were 2 times), or you don't want to face the sand.

The beach is long, along the entire territory, if the sand is pleasant on the left, then at its right end there are stones, not pebbles, but such stones for extreme people, but we didn’t go there. The water in the sea is clean, without soil impurities (two years ago we were in Goa, there was just broth), although after the storm it caused garbage, but the next day everything was cleared, and again wonderful water was waiting for us.

The people at the hotel are very friendly, they are especially good with children, always with a smile. The restaurant is always ready to help.
Our son can be somewhat clumsy, he will drop his fork, then he will spill soda, the waiter immediately came to the rescue, and which is very nice, no irritation, but on the contrary, he tried to fix everything and calm the kid. The food was excellent (we had all inclusive))), in addition to various dishes, I remember natural yogurt and ice cream.

The hotel had a children's pirate club from Natalie, and there was also a club for the very young. Our Russian animators worked in both (Elena and Tatyana, thank you very much! ))). They have developed a whole program for every day until the very evening (and in the evening there is a children's disco), and the pirates did not have to be bored, interrupted only for meals. My husband and I rented a car, which is convenient if you want to travel around the sights of the island. We also went on organized tours. In 14 days we managed to see Rethymnon, Chania, Heraklion, Fr.

Santorini, Kournas lake, Arkadi and Kaliviani monasteries, Kourtaliotiko gorges, Mirabello bay, swam on the pink sand beach of Elafonisi...We brought a lot of impressions. Crete is wonderful. I really want to go back and I want to see Rhodes and Corfu.
