The hotel was chosen at an affordable price and the advice of his agent, tied to a place near Rethymno. This was our 3rd trip to Crete. We liked the village of Adelina Campus even on the 1st visit. Excellent sea and beach, there are a lot of different shops nearby, a ceramics gallery nearby and also nearby, 15 minutes by bus, Rethymno, a Venetian-built town, very cozy. Near our hotel, 1.5 minutes walk, a store in which everything except meat and cakes . Meat 5-7 min, cake near the bus stop))) Bus stop-3 min. In the hotel itself, rooms that have everything for relaxation, we only had breakfast, but lunch and dinner in the studio room were prepared by me for half an hour from fresh products that my husband brought from the store (remember 1.5 minutes) But if you really don’t want to get involved with a kitchen, you can eat for two with wine for 20-25 EURO. There is also a feature: a special offer. Please note that each restaurant on the billboard near the entrance exposes a set lunch or dinner with a special price. (Used in Chania in the port - a huge mix of fish and Greek salad, 200g of rakia and 2 ice creams - 16 EURO) We were fed breakfast in the basement, very clean and neat, but it is difficult to call it a restaurant. The food is all fresh and tasty, but like any European breakfast, the assortment is not particularly different. The hotel administrator is Ukrainian Maria, who will tell you everything about the location in the area.
I would especially like to note about the most beautiful places that we surveyed. First: the Cretan evening in Anopolis, somehow I didn’t really want to, and then I didn’t even need dinner, I was so struck by the color of the dance and the pros performing it. This action is the history of Crete, from the thread of Ariadne to the Olympic Games. I highly advise.
Second: Elafonisi is a pink beach, a very beautiful sea.

Third: Balos-white beach.
Fourth: Chania and Rethymno.
Fifth: Agios Nikolaos.
We did not take a car, we went by bus. If you have a map, you can plan everything.
Elafonisi and Balos were taken from a Greek tour operator (cheaper).
The weather is wonderful, 1-2 days fell on the siroka (southern hurricane wind), from which there is nothing to breathe and a lot of sand.
I am not a lover of luxury, but a lover of nature. In this sense, Crete gives you it to the fullest (sea, beaches, sun, delicious food, almost not poisoned with chemicals, delicious water, vegetation (even thorns), very comfortably planted flowers in pots , the brightness of all the colors of nature. I especially want to note Chania. The port and the streets nearby in the old town have a special charm and flavor.
Also in favor of the hotel: you feel at home thanks to Maria's attitude towards tourists. Before leaving, we bought face and foot cream (really cool), homemade olive oil for salads, and very tasty honey (believe me, I understand honey), honey is expensive, but you can try a little for yourself, we thought.
And perhaps the last thing: we came across nice people in Crete, both locals and tourists, not a single rogue, which gave us complete enjoyment of the island.
I wish everyone to get a lot of pleasure from the rest (the main thing is the right attitude and understanding of what you want)
