Initially we bought a package tour to the Standard room, but upon arrival we moved to the Superior category for an additional fee. The Superior room is more modern and freshly refurbished. The standard is also nothing. The furniture is old but the room itself is kept clean and tidy. This time I wanted to relax in a modern room. Large room - 2 bedrooms with double beds, kitchen-living room with one more bed, 3 balconies, 2 bathrooms. The room is fully consistent with the photo on the site. Windows and balconies face the street with busy traffic. It is impossible to sleep with open balconies. But with the air conditioner on and the doors closed, it's just fine! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. There is no safe. Air conditioners in every room. Everything is clean and in order.

For an additional fee (4 EUR/person per day) you can order breakfast at the hotel. We had breakfast in our room. Across the street from the hotel is a Synka supermarket where you can buy everything you need. Every morning, fresh seafood is put on the counter, but by lunchtime they are already sold out. In Crete, the most convenient way to travel is by car. The hotel has free parking. Despite the fact that it is about 35-40 km to the south coast from Rethymno, the road takes about an hour to drive along mountain serpentines. A 20-minute walk from the hotel Old Town, with its authentic streets, shops and taverns. You can take a bus from the hotel for 1 euro or a taxi for 5 euros. We usually walked to the Old Town on foot along the embankment and took a taxi back.
The hotel is located on the second line from the beach, 3 minutes walk. The beach is urban, but not as attractive and clean as the beaches of the south coast. Sun loungers and umbrellas for extra. fee (about 4 euros), there are strong waves.
We can recommend a hotel for outdoor activities - sightseeing in Rethymno, trips to sights and beaches. For a more relaxing holiday "hotel-beach-hotel" it is better to stay in the small village of Bali, 30 km from Rethymno.
