The pool at the hotel is not cleaned, but bleach is thrown every evening with all my heart.
Regarding food: the first week, somehow it was still possible to choose something edible, and on the second, it became impossible to eat at all, we ate outside the hotel. From drinks you can drink only beer. , Wine - vinegar. Coffee is a solid chemistry, drinks are UPI.
As for the beach: I have never seen such a dirty beach in my life (and I have seen many beaches on the Black Sea, the Mediterranean and the Red). Everything that the waves throw out (and they were almost constantly) has been lying on the sand for years, and no one cleans it up. Finding a place to lie down is extremely problematic - there is dirt all around, mostly waste of human activity.
It's good that we ordered a car via the Internet in advance, and we only came to the hotel to spend the night. The places in Crete are amazing, and what kind of beaches are there, especially in the south of the island! Bathed elsewhere and traveled all vacation. If not for the car, the holiday would have been completely ruined.
In addition, I want to note: this hotel does not even pull on European 3 *, not to mention 4 *. That's right, earlier in the review, it was called: a motel by the road. No more. And our travel agencies take it for him as for 4 *. We saw not far from us 4 * Hotel Orion - heaven and earth.

Even the bartender said that everything was over and the owner was not lucky. The only plus in this hotel is the Russian-speaking staff. The owner is so greedy that he hires our students from the former Soviet Union for the summer season, pays them a penny, and squeezes the maximum, they do their best: they clean the rooms, on the beach, in the restaurant, etc.
