From alcohol in the all-inclusive system - beer, ouzo, crayfish, wine-red, rose, white, brandy. Cocktails and metaxa are already for a fee. Ice cream is only for children under 12 years old, so - 1 euro - a ball.
The staff is very kind, nice, polite, not greedy. The bartender of the Panajotis hotel poured as much as they asked, for a week he never showed dissatisfaction, at 22.30 the bar closed, and our company of 9 people gained obscene alcohol 15 minutes before closing - 30-40 glasses and sat until 2 in the morning, we didn’t have any remarks that none of the staff did so much at once. At the reception, Nina answered all questions. There are few staff - 5-7 people, who are in sight, and they, like a family, change with each other - today one can pour in a bar, then she goes to cut flowers, then she helps to clean the rooms, the owner of the hotel came, he also got up at the bar, the child applied ice cream.
There is practically nothing for children, only a fenced part of the pool in which the child can stand on his own. No slides, no swings. But the fact that the territory of the hotel is very small for a child is the most - I did not get tired of running from the pool to the room or for ice cream to the restaurant.
Of the minuses - for 7 days almost all days there was no HOT WATER, or rather it was sometimes only during the day. Wi-fi also did not work for 2 days. By the way - if you need the password for Wi-Fi LIZA_MARI_1 - the password is 12345678. The rooms are very modest, some kind of gray, in our 64th room there were two single beds for a double bed, but the distance between the borders of these beds is very wide - so everyone slept with his wife on his own separately, albeit nearby.
The hotel is located between Rethymnon and Heraklion (it takes 30-40 minutes by car, you can also take a bus that runs every hour from the stop - 3.5 euros to Rethymnon, 4.9 euros to Heraklion one way).

It’s actually not 20 m to the sea (as indicated on the websites), but somewhere around 300 m to the nearest (small) beach and 500-600 meters to the big one, but the most important thing is that these roads are all down the mountain, so going back is very hard, but after 3-4 days you get used to it somehow! Small fish swim in the sea and they bite when you swim normally, but it's worth stopping as they are right there! A palm beetle climbed into the room a couple of times, it is safe, but very nasty and screams loudly (and jumps).
Now about excursions!
Be sure to raft on Gramvousa, this is an excursion on a liner to the Balos peninsula, where the three seas surrounding Crete merge. Honestly mesmerizing, the water is of an unusual color and clean, it costs around 60-70 euros, I don’t remember exactly!
