Rested with my husband in Crete in July, the hotel Amnissos residence 3 stars.
We lived not far from Rethymnon, it took about 20 minutes by bus, we immediately bought tickets for several trips.
The beach of the hotel was a little let down, not a convenient entrance to the sea and not enough sunbeds. Nearby there are sun loungers of the beach bar, for which you have to pay, or go to the left side to the neighboring hotel and lie there on your towels, as we did.

For dinner they gave fish, meat, vegetables, various salads and desserts with fruits. Everything is very tasty, always fresh, the buffet is replenished in a timely manner. The hospitable owners of the hotel, when there were difficulties with the room, they changed it the next day.
The hotel area is very beautiful, houses in the form of bungalows, greenery and trees with lemons and apricots everywhere. Near the hotel there is a bar, a tavern and two shops, as well as a car rental salon. We took a car and traveled to all nearby places, this is Lake Kournas and the cave of Zeus, the city of Chania and Balos Bay. If we left and missed lunch at the restaurant, we could ask for a lunch box, we were given a sandwich, an orange and water. Also went to Santorini by ferry, incredible island but very little time on the island itself. In general, we returned with a package of impressions and emotions.
