During the day the temperature was from +24 in the first 2 days to +30. The water is warm enough for swimming +19 +20 degrees. The nights are very warm all the time +21 + 22 degrees. And the sun almost all day.
We got from the airport for quite a long time, almost 2 hours, because we were in the farthest hotel and there were about 20 people on the bus with us, until everyone was brought in... But this is perhaps the only negative.
We settled into the room instantly and were stunned by the new renovation, new furniture, the whole hotel seemed to be built yesterday, super new renovation. We took a room with a sea view, we recommend it to everyone, it's very beautiful. (we had 3208)

The hotel is purely for couples with children and for couples over 35, young people will be frankly bored there, this is a hotel for passive recreation.
So what else. . . The sea. . . The sea is SUPER!! ! The beach is 3 minutes from the hotel, you need to cross the path and go down the stairs (69 steps), there are a lot of sunbeds. The sea itself is magnificently clean....Just crystal clear water with many fish, a huge number of stone boulders at the bottom, who likes to swim with a mask - I recommend it, it's very beautiful. Yes, who with children do not forget to take a bun with you to the beach after breakfast and while there are few people in the morning feed the fish, the children will get indescribable pleasure, huge flocks of fish just pounce on pieces of bread...
Beach towels are provided at the spa and are changed every other day.
Be sure to rent a car!! ! We took it for 2 days and, in principle, this is enough, we traveled around the entire island and looked at everything, there are not so many sights on the island, I won’t tell, you will find it yourself, but the nature is just CHIC, small mountains and the beautiful Aegean Sea.
So Greece and specifically Rhodes were very pleased!

At the hotel, we were met by a smiling Greek at the reception, who very quickly told us something in English (I know the language at the level of the school curriculum), gave us a plastic key and, together with the porter, sent us to the room. We rushed to the room on a run to catch a snack bar later for a late dinner, which ends there at 24.00.
We were very lucky with our fellow travelers, in addition to us, two more people came to this hotel (mother and daughter). My daughter (19 years old) knows English perfectly, so she translated everything for us. Even on the way to our room, we began to get very upset, we ran along the corridor, where the wind was howling, there were no tiles under our feet in some places, it was twilight and there were no windows around - it felt like we were in the basement. The room was standard, ten steps across the grass in front of our veranda were the windows of another building. This room was sold to us as a garden view room! Leaving things, we, with the same porter and our neighbors in misfortune, rushed to dinner, we were the only one there, we were offered cooled fatty pasta with the same cutlets, and slices of dried pizza, the waiter who was there gave us from a plate For some reason, there were 3 plums for four, after which he took this plate out of the hall.
Having had a bite of pizza, the four of us with our fellow travelers went to the reception with a request to change our rooms, but the smiling uncle sent us to bed and advised us to come up with this issue in the morning. The next day, having previously agreed with our neighbors, we were already at the reception at 9.30, where smiling pleasant women came to replace the uncle, we asked through our “translator” to change our rooms, having learned the reason for our dissatisfaction (basement, windows to windows) , she told us that our Russian tour operators booked exactly these rooms, although others were offered. We came to the conclusion that for us (Russians) the cheapest rooms are booked by our tour operators, and they are sold to us, no longer as cheap. By the way, the entire wing was indeed inhabited only by Russians. After that, we were given two keys to other rooms, in an additional building across the road.
We really liked the rooms, with balconies on the second floor, with a private pool, overlooking the sea, the neighbors are Germans, Italians and French. We then thanked the aunt from the reception with our Russian chocolate, which she opened in front of us and began to eat and smile. On this, all the bad things on our vacation ended, and a fairy tale began. After unpacking, we went to get acquainted with the hotel and its territory. All life there is concentrated in the center, on the 3rd floor the reception and the main hall, on the 2nd floor the main restaurant and bar, which continues to the 1st floor on the street, on the 0th floor there are swimming pools, a snack bar, ice cream, swimming pools (outdoor and indoor), a bar by the pool, a stage for evening performances and a road to the sea. Go to the sea for about 5 minutes, then go down the steps to the sea. Beach own, small pebbles, sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels - free of charge. There is also a bar on the beach. Everything everywhere is free (ALL) and in unlimited quantity and good quality.
For breakfast, lunch and dinner (dress code) we went to the main restaurant, how everything was beautiful and tasty there (special thanks to the chefs) - can not be described in words. I was pleased with the choice of dishes: meat, chicken, fish, salads, seafood, vegetables, fruits, sweets, wines to choose from for lunch and dinner, friendly waiters. We went to the snack bar only once. We decided to go to an A la carte restaurant, made an appointment with our neighbors for the day, dressed up and ended up ...in this unloved snack bar.
The table in this eatery was covered with a white tablecloth (everyone else without them), and there were cutlery for 4 people. When we learned that the restaurant would be in a snack bar, we were very upset, but decided to go through with it.
The absurdity was that one table was set for us, we were sitting there in front of everyone, dressed like in a restaurant, and everyone walked past us in swimsuits and swimming trunks for a snack, we were offered to go to the same food ourselves as for everyone to the buffet (salads, pizzas), after which they brought everyone a fish baked on the grill, poured wine ...and, as a matter of fact, A la carte (fish, there is no other) ended on this. We were finished off by the fact that we were finishing the fish, looking at the cleaners who were waving rags around us. We have a good sense of humor, as well as appetite. Of course, we laughed a lot about this situation, but we left there hungry, so we decided to go to the main restaurant and eat normally. What does the choice of fish and seafood (there were very tasty mussels that day) was more than in the A la carte fish restaurant! We noted this in the wishes of the hotel. Also, we were pleased with the animators, entertained everywhere, everyone and always.
Unfortunately, they did not speak Russian, but still we understood each other perfectly. Evening performances were always interesting, after which they still had enough energy for a disco in a bar. Awesome guys! The only Russian speaker in this hotel (except for guides) was the Kamelia bar (woo) men, in the pool bar. A very friendly woman, made amazing cocktails based on my favorite Baileys. )))) They cleaned and changed the bed linen in the room every day, the maid, a friendly Albanian, every day built from my nightgown either a flower or a butterfly.
We left tips every other day, but this did not affect the quality. This is about the hotel. Now I will tell you about our excursions around the island. We bought 2 excursions at the hotel: to the Butterfly Valley (50 euros) and Rhodes (50 euros). Independently went to Lindos and Prasonisi.
We went to the Butterfly Valley by a minibus from Tez Tour, this is a very beautiful place with a large accumulation of butterflies of the same species, they fly here from June to September to breed. Then we visited an ostrich farm, something like a mini-zoo with different animals, bought an ostrich egg and ate an ostrich meat chop (we liked it - delicious). The third place of this excursion was a visit to 7 sources, walking along the stream from these seven sources, and it is very cold and underground, you are cleansed of everything bad (the guide told us so). A day later, we decided to go on our own to Lindos, to the Acropolis. We went there by regular bus for 2.5 euros. We walked around Lindos itself, there is a very beautiful floor lined with beautiful stones, the stones are smooth, as if they were being polished, wandered around the souvenir shops, and then climbed the mountain to the Acropolis (116 meters above sea level).
It’s hard to climb, especially when it’s +40 degrees outside, but it’s worth it, the view from there opens up fantastically beautiful! It was possible to get there on a donkey (5 euros), but we felt sorry for these little pretty animals, and it was somehow scary! )))) We returned back by taxi (20 euros). Our next trip was to Prasonisi (the confluence of two seas: the Mediterranean and the Aegean), the view is amazing - the Aegean is always with waves, and the Mediterranean is a calm surface! We swam in two seas, admired the surfers and went to the hotel. My daughter (19 years old) knows English perfectly, so she translated everything for us. Even on the way to our room, we began to get very upset, we ran along the corridor, where the wind was howling, there were no tiles under our feet in some places, it was twilight and there were no windows around - it felt like we were in the basement. The room was standard, ten steps across the grass in front of our veranda were the windows of another building. This room was sold to us as a garden view room! Leaving things, we, with the same porter and our neighbors in misfortune, rushed to dinner, we were the only one there, we were offered cooled fatty pasta with the same cutlets, and slices of dried pizza, the waiter who was there gave us from a plate For some reason, there were 3 plums for four, after which he took this plate out of the hall.
Having had a bite of pizza, the four of us with our fellow travelers went to the reception with a request to change our rooms, but the smiling uncle sent us to bed and advised us to come up with this issue in the morning. The next day, having previously agreed with our neighbors, we were already at the reception at 9.30, where smiling pleasant women came to replace the uncle, we asked through our “translator” to change our rooms, having learned the reason for our dissatisfaction (basement, windows to windows) , she told us that our Russian tour operators booked exactly these rooms, although others were offered. We came to the conclusion that for us (Russians) the cheapest rooms are booked by our tour operators, and they are sold to us, no longer as cheap. By the way, the entire wing was indeed inhabited only by Russians. After that, we were given two keys to other rooms, in an additional building across the road.
We really liked the rooms, with balconies on the second floor, with a private pool, overlooking the sea, the neighbors are Germans, Italians and French. We then thanked the aunt from the reception with our Russian chocolate, which she opened in front of us and began to eat and smile. On this, all the bad things on our vacation ended, and a fairy tale began. After unpacking, we went to get acquainted with the hotel and its territory. All life there is concentrated in the center, on the 3rd floor the reception and the main hall, on the 2nd floor the main restaurant and bar, which continues to the 1st floor on the street, on the 0th floor there are swimming pools, a snack bar, ice cream, swimming pools (outdoor and indoor), a bar by the pool, a stage for evening performances and a road to the sea. Go to the sea for about 5 minutes, then go down the steps to the sea. Beach own, small pebbles, sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels - free of charge. There is also a bar on the beach. Everything everywhere is free (ALL) and in unlimited quantity and good quality.
For breakfast, lunch and dinner (dress code) we went to the main restaurant, how everything was beautiful and tasty there (special thanks to the chefs) - can not be described in words. I was pleased with the choice of dishes: meat, chicken, fish, salads, seafood, vegetables, fruits, sweets, wines to choose from for lunch and dinner, friendly waiters. We went to the snack bar only once. We decided to go to an A la carte restaurant, made an appointment with our neighbors for the day, dressed up and ended up ...in this unloved snack bar.
The table in this eatery was covered with a white tablecloth (everyone else without them), and there were cutlery for 4 people. When we learned that the restaurant would be in a snack bar, we were very upset, but decided to go through with it.
The absurdity was that one table was set for us, we were sitting there in front of everyone, dressed like in a restaurant, and everyone walked past us in swimsuits and swimming trunks for a snack, we were offered to go to the same food ourselves as for everyone to the buffet (salads, pizzas), after which they brought everyone a fish baked on the grill, poured wine ...and, as a matter of fact, A la carte (fish, there is no other) ended on this. We were finished off by the fact that we were finishing the fish, looking at the cleaners who were waving rags around us. We have a good sense of humor, as well as appetite. Of course, we laughed a lot about this situation, but we left there hungry, so we decided to go to the main restaurant and eat normally. What does the choice of fish and seafood (there were very tasty mussels that day) was more than in the A la carte fish restaurant! We noted this in the wishes of the hotel. Also, we were pleased with the animators, entertained everywhere, everyone and always.
Unfortunately, they did not speak Russian, but still we understood each other perfectly. Evening performances were always interesting, after which they still had enough energy for a disco in a bar. Awesome guys! The only Russian speaker in this hotel (except for guides) was the Kamelia bar (woo) men, in the pool bar. A very friendly woman, made amazing cocktails based on my favorite Baileys. )))) They cleaned and changed the bed linen in the room every day, the maid, a friendly Albanian, every day built from my nightgown either a flower or a butterfly.
We left tips every other day, but this did not affect the quality. This is about the hotel. Now I will tell you about our excursions around the island. We bought 2 excursions at the hotel: to the Butterfly Valley (50 euros) and Rhodes (50 euros). Independently went to Lindos and Prasonisi.
We went to the Butterfly Valley by a minibus from Tez Tour, this is a very beautiful place with a large accumulation of butterflies of the same species, they fly here from June to September to breed. Then we visited an ostrich farm, something like a mini-zoo with different animals, bought an ostrich egg and ate an ostrich meat chop (we liked it - delicious). The third place of this excursion was a visit to 7 sources, walking along the stream from these seven sources, and it is very cold and underground, you are cleansed of everything bad (the guide told us so). A day later, we decided to go on our own to Lindos, to the Acropolis. We went there by regular bus for 2.5 euros. We walked around Lindos itself, there is a very beautiful floor lined with beautiful stones, the stones are smooth, as if they were being polished, wandered around the souvenir shops, and then climbed the mountain to the Acropolis (116 meters above sea level).
It’s hard to climb, especially when it’s +40 degrees outside, but it’s worth it, the view from there opens up fantastically beautiful! It was possible to get there on a donkey (5 euros), but we felt sorry for these little pretty animals, and it was somehow scary! )))) We returned back by taxi (20 euros). Our next trip was to Prasonisi (the confluence of two seas: the Mediterranean and the Aegean), the view is amazing - the Aegean is always with waves, and the Mediterranean is a calm surface! We swam in two seas, admired the surfers and went to the hotel. We went on vacation with a girlfriend and children without husbands, so there was no one to protect us. We were robbed, a bag with documents, money and rings was stolen from the room. The balcony door was broken. Of course, we did not take the safe in this, of course, our fault, but from the Beleon tour guide accompanying our group from the airport to the hotel, we did not hear that theft is rampant here and you need to book a safe. The police, having arrived at the place, did not even go into the room, they stood on the threshold of something loudly discussing, and then offered to come to their station in the morning. Our hotel guide Anatoly, he just threw us, he swaggered at first, but after talking with the director of the hotel the next day he said that these were our problems and he would not go to the police with us. We do not know the Greek language, they do not speak English, and we do not speak it very well. In general, we began to look for ourselves who would help us. We found a woman who speaks Russian, she called the police, they said that the boss would be in only two days later, they called Moscow, and only after that the manager Valentina came to us, who helped us get to the police and write a statement. I thank her very much for this. And the director of this institution RODOS PRINCESS behaved disgustingly and disgustingly, he tried with all his might to prove that the door was not opened, that we ourselves are to blame for everything, and there is no theft in their hotel. There was no way to prove anything. There is mutual responsibility, police, administration and those. staff. It all looked very ugly. This is how we rested in June 2010!! !
