Still in Dubrovnik, I had a free moment to write a couple of lines. We stayed in private apartments, there are no questions for them, everything was promised 3 bedrooms, a living room, a veranda overlooking the sea. This is perhaps the only thing that is good, what is bad: 1) beaches. The beach is a kilometer from the apartments down the mountain, adults have no problems, but it’s hard with a child, especially the way back, there is a closer beach, but to get to it, you need to overcome 500! ! Step. For those who say that they say it’s their own fault, I saved it, I’ll answer - they settled 800 meters from the center (old town), the nearest store, by the way, is at the same distance. (price 3000 euros for 3 weeks). Again about the beach: it's a pebble with 50% sand and cigarette butts mixed in! ! I'm not exaggerating! They smoke a lot, there are no ashtrays! 2) transport you can get to the beach by bus 2 stops total price - 15 kunas (75 rubles) per adult, but to get back (uphill) (one-way road) you either need to ride the same bus for 35 minutes until it makes a circle, or go 500 meters uphill to cut off his route and then also 2 stops. Taxi option number two. The story is a separate taxi stop near the beach, it is also at the entrance to the old city, the cost of the trip on the counter is 50 kunas (250 rubles), but! The taxi driver can easily refuse to take you, there were several reasons: 1) you are wet (I remember stopping by the beach) a towel bed decides everything 2) there are people standing there, they are likely to the airport and will pay more, so free 3) where to go? Zlatni Potok? ! No, it's not too fast and cheap to go to another car (despite the fact that you can stand and wait for a taxi for 40 minutes in the heat, there is no problem) and all this was not bombed by a private owner of the official city taxi. The issue is solved by renting a car, min 50 euros per day. Restaurants: while they explored quite tolerable in the old town, the price is about 220 euros for 4 adults 3 children 3 + 3 + 8 years old, with one bottle of wine everything is delicious and with a claim to races : ) next to the beach, disgusting quality food for the same number of people without alcohol 140 euros not at all cheap in general. And at the same time we went to friends, they are resting in Montenegro 60 km from us, the most expensive bill with large portions with alcohol is 100 euros, lunch in a tavern far from the beach without alcohol is 24 euros and very tasty, the attitude towards Russians is super close to the beach , on the beach you can buy buckets of scoops for children and from (which is not in Dubrovnik at all) the sea is much warmer, the place is called baocihi until everyone gets more impressions, I will add.
