I went to rest with my husband a couple of friends in April for 10 days. We flew from Donetsk via Istanbul and Singapore. The flight is difficult, but without children I think you can quickly adapt.
We took grand standard rooms overlooking the garden, we were very happy that the 5th floor, as the view from the balcony is very beautiful, no one bothers or makes noise under the windows and the ocean is visible.
So, the room itself is no frills, fairly maintained, but spacious and bright. Too little space in the wardrobe, cleaning in full decent, fruit every day.
We only took breakfast (for the first time in all our previous trips) and I want to recommend it to everyone, since the rather monotonous breakfast did not impress us, and the cost of dinner is absolutely overpriced.

But the territory is just chic, everything is really buried in greenery, water lilies, flowers, full of birds and squirrels, who even ran to visit the balcony and ate chips right from their hands with pleasure. All in ponds with lots of fish.
The beach is spacious, sun loungers under the trees, a beautiful beach in the ocean and low tides did not interfere with us at all, it was clean. We never swam in the pool, but it makes sense if there is such an ocean nearby.
The staff is very welcoming and helpful. As for the bars, the prices for alcohol, as well as throughout Bali, are quite high.
The most important advantage of the hotel, apart from the territory, is the location. Right in 10 steps - Bali Collection, a huge area with many shops, cafes, restaurants, spas. Firstly, you can take a walk nearby, without a taxi and loss of time, and secondly, it’s very tasty to eat (I would especially like to mention "Prada" - New Zealand beef and lobsters with seafood - just super. In all restaurants, immediately ask for a tax and a service charge. (basically everywhere it turns out + 21% + 10%, but they give some kind of discount; in "Prada", in addition to the absence of all allowances, there is also a discount of 15-20%, but believe me, the service assortment and taste do not suffer from this, here is free Wi -Fi)), thirdly, go to the spa (we chose "Cayman" for ourselves from the super price, you can take another 10-20% discount), fourthly, souvenirs and things (shorts, polo shirts, t-shirts).

On the first evening, we took a taxi collection near Bali and for 5 bucks we went to the village of Jimbaran for dinner at sunset (read the reviews) - don’t you dare, the dirt is not only in restaurants, but the entire coast is just a trash can, and prices are unreasonably expensive. Having met the driver Newman, who, like us, barely spoke English, we took the phone of a Russian-speaking guide, his name is Aya, we highly recommend it, we were lucky - he is a young, well-read, well-speaking and interestingly telling guy. There were no punctures with him, we traveled many places in three days. On the day from 9 to 19 patili for all 40-45 dollars. Once we took a trip on a yacht for the whole day with fishing, trolling, snorkeling right on the beach near a local named Fotik for $ 360, we were a little disappointed, although this is not for everybody. We regretted that Aya did not organize such a trip for us (both cheaper and better). It rained every 1 day, but despite this, we had the most positive impressions. On the way back we stopped for 3 days in Singapore. Worth a look for everyone - the city of the 22nd century.
We will return to Bali for sure, everyone have a pleasant stay.
