Have been in this hotel since 10.11. 08. to 22.11. 08. I liked it. Value for money is fair.
Positive points:
1. The tides on the beach of this hotel are never felt - you can always swim;
2. Proximity to the South Gate (5-10 minutes on foot) and the Main Gate (10-15 minutes on foot) of the resort of Nusa Dua, behind which there are many inexpensive restaurants and markets with inexpensive souvenirs and Balinese goods;
3. Proximity (5-10 minutes on foot) to the Bali Collection shopping center, where you can eat and buy fruit and souvenirs (all a bit more expensive than outside the gates of Nusa Dua, but better);
4. Friendly staff, linen is changed every day, towels - 2 times a day, bottles of drinking water in the room are replenished during the day as needed;
5. Good soundproofing of rooms.
6. In the room - bathrobes, slippers, kettle and kit for making tea, coffee (replenish as needed).
7.

Not far from the beach (if you look at the ocean - on the left) is an inexpensive cafe where you can have a snack (we bought fresh fruit and ice cream "take away" during the day).
Negative moments:
1. There are a lot of Chinese people staying in the hotel (almost 50%), who constantly go everywhere with big companies and communicate incredibly loudly with each other. It seemed that he was in the Chinese House of Collective Farmers. But in the afternoon they disappeared from the hotel, and appeared on the beach only to be photographed against the ocean. Therefore, their noisy presence in the morning in the restaurant, and in the evening - in the pool gave the hotel even some specific entourage: ))).
2. Poor breakfasts, focused on Chinese comrades, who destroyed it with incredible speed, and it seemed that along with the dishes. But it is difficult to stay hungry - for breakfast there was always a large selection of pastries and fruits (watermelons, bananas, pineapple, papaya, sometimes melon).
On days when we did not go on excursions, we tried to go out for breakfast after the Chinese invasion (somewhere between 9 and 9.30). By this time, the queues for waiters who cooked scrambled eggs (omelet) with bacon disappeared, and the staff of the restaurant, seeing that the Chinese became much smaller, began to replenish the stock of food on the dishes.
3. The hotel is old, so the bathroom in the rooms - combined. Inconvenient, but not deadly. We are not going to live there forever : ))). And two weeks you can trample (do not forget - price = quality, and in this hotel - the cheapest rooms that can offer Nusa Dua)
EXCURSIONS:
For excursions on the island we chose a reliable driver with a car (on the recommendation of the guide of the host travel agency) and he drove us a day across the island for 35-50USD (for a car, not a man! ).
Here is our excursion program in Bali:
1 day ($ 40):
- Batik salon in Ubud (beautiful, informative, bought a cute exclusive sarong)
- Pura Taman Ayun Temple ("Royal Temple") in the village of Mengwi, the whole complex is surrounded by a moat picturesquely overgrown with algae and lilies - I liked the soothing atmosphere;

- Pura Ulun temple Danou Bratan - a very beautiful place;
- the famous market of fruits and spices in the town of Bedugul - nothing special - but the variety is great, but the prices are still breaking ! ! ! ! ! ! We did not manage to bargain for the prices at which the fruit was sold in the Bali Collection market at the market in Bedugul.
- GIT-GIT waterfall is beautiful, but later during rafting we saw other more picturesque waterfalls.
- Monkey Sanctuary in Alan Kedaton - funny monkeys, there you can see and touch the flying foxes. Before the trip, I advise you to stock up on treats for monkeys in advance, but you need to feed them carefully, holding the treat in small portions in the palm of your hand and in no case show these rascals where you have all the food supply. Otherwise they will attack and take everything away.
2 days (40 dollars.
):
- workshop of wood carvers in the village of Mas (read a mini-lecture about the types of wood and their properties - interesting)
- Goya Goja (elephant cave) - I liked it
- Gunung Kawi Temple - the royal tombs of the 14th century - are stunning
- Temple of Pura Tirta Empul (Temple of the Holy Spring - the holy spring) - many pilgrims, it was interesting to watch the rite of ablution.
- Kintamani Volcano (volcano with a double crater) - a magnificent view of the inner crater of the volcano Batur and the mountain lake Batur in the outer crater.
- BIRD PARK, REPTILE PARK - after Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park - not interesting, and ticket prices are unreasonably expensive - $ 17.
Day 3 ($ 50):
- Goa Lawah Cave in the Candi Dasa area - here, indeed, we saw a colony of bats hanging upside down. We just got to the ritual "ceremony" in the temple near the cave - it was interesting to observe the behavior of the Balinese during the ceremony.
After the cave we went to look at the beach with black volcanic sand.

- Water Palace Tirtagangga - a structure of extraordinary beauty (statues, fountains, bridges, ponds) - really enjoyed a walk with pleasure. In the big pond, in addition to fish, there were also steps-islands, jumping on which, we made a wish.
- The MOTHER TEMPLE of BALI BESAKIH temple is rather a complex of temples - it amazes with its scale and variety of architecture, but somehow local guides behave obsessively there, we managed to fight them off, but "the sediment remained" and the impression was spoiled.
- Elephant Park - entrance tickets are also unreasonably expensive. Bought entrance tickets for $ 15. - it's just a look, in the park paid the driver 5 dollars. He took us for 10 minutes in a row. and showed a mini-show with an elephant. After Thailand - not interesting.
Day 4 ($ 35):
- The Pura Luhur Batukau temple, which stands on the lower slopes of the island's most sacred mountain - Gunung Batukau (sometimes pronounced "Batukaru") - is very beautiful.
Pura Tanah Lot Temple - a temple on a rock in the ocean - a stunning place. It is best to drive there by 5 pm - you can just have time to walk, take pictures and admire the sunset.
Day 5 ($ 70 per person):
The hotel guide bought only rafting on the Telaga Waja River, provided that the rafting company will be Sobek. Rafting on Telaga Vaje is considered "steeper" than on Ayung - the river is more helpful and the route is longer. I really liked it !! ! !!
Day 6 ($ 80 per person):
In Bali Collection we bought a tour "Bounty Cruise" - a pontoon in the ocean near the island of Lambogan, where we snorkeling, banana rides and water slides. Also, you could go to the island (everything is included in the cost of the tour + tea before leaving the ferry from the pier in Sanur and lunch on the ferry)
7 days - half a day - ($ 25)
- Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple (very beautiful and lots of good monkeys),
- Garuda Wisnu Kencana Park (interesting)
- Padang Padang beach (there were no surfers at that time)
- Dinner in Jimbaran against the sunset (nothing special, we went only for the entourage, my husband had a birthday that day - you can not go)

To travel on this tour took a taxi at the exit of the hotel. And to get to the sunset on Jimbaran from the hotel you need to leave at 14 o'clock.
For 12 days on the island, the excursion program was quite intense, but there is something to remember : ))).
