Friends, I have never been involved in writing reviews and reviews, but I want to protect everyone from the mistakes that I myself have already made. I was with a young man. It turned out to snatch a vacation for a week, and the visa to Israel was just canceled, and of course the temperature of +40 was very captivating. We were among the first tourists who arrived without a visa. There were no problems at customs. We flew from St. Petersburg to Tel Aviv at 7 am and waited until 2 pm for a connecting flight to Eilat. We tried to take a taxi, but the price for a 5-hour trip is 800 euros, which is somehow not very acceptable. We flew on local airlines, to say that it was chattering and it was terribly creepy even for a person with iron nerves, to say nothing! I think the pilot himself was surprised how he flew on this wreck. The airport is located in the heart of the city of Eilat, the hotel can be reached in 5-10 minutes by car. And this is where the fun begins:
Dan Eilat Hotel - declares itself as a 5 * premium class hotel, etc. etc.
I assure you, it does not even reach 2! And what is most surprising, all the locals with whom I managed to communicate agree with this. they all confirmed our fears that none of these hotels (Hilton, Royal Bitch, Herods, Dan) passed any qualification, and what surprised us the most. It turns out that Dan is better than all those that are in the vicinity. That the Hilton, Royal Beach hotels are located in the very center of the global chicken coop can be seen by looking at the map of the city. Between the hotels and the sea there is a street that you need to cross to get to the beach. And this street is littered with small stalls with merchants, i. e. a market that is incredibly noisy and teeming around the clock. Therefore, do not even hope to open the balcony at night! Noise and din!

But that's not the worst : )
The beach of all the hotels is not fenced, they are separated by some invisible lines, which only the deeply initiated are aware of. And homeless people can also lie next to you on the next couch. What we see every day. Going to the sea to swim together - it was a dream! Hurry, hurry, before the homeless come.
Service:
The staff are mostly Arabs or Israelis who have just left the army and have to work for some minimum to receive benefits from the state. Therefore, they don't care about you. They're here for the paper!
Before our eyes, there were more than once cases when hotel employees were rude, rude and almost used force against hotel visitors. The same applies to the children's room. Animators do not care about your children, they can put them on a mattress in the pool and leave. And what will happen to them next, no one cares.
We call the staff!
Moving on, the atmosphere.
I'm not a racist. I have nothing against the Jews, but this is an extremely uncultured nation. Perhaps the reason for this is that the state was formed less than 60 years ago, but is this period really not enough to teach people the elementary rules of etiquette. They roar forever. When you go down to breakfast in the morning (worse than the cheapest eatery) there is such noise and din that you instantly descend from heaven to earth. The staff does not know where to get spoons or forks and does not help in any way in the search. there is no question of laying a table at all! Sami! All Sami! Why are you here to rest or what?
Well, again, "highly cultured" Jews can easily light a six-point cigarette when you have breakfast nearby, practically exhaling in your face.
Hotel condition:
What you see in the picture on the sites are very well edited photos in 3D. You are being misled. The hotel is terrible. The elevator works only on even-numbered floors on Shabbat))) He is also a Jew - an elevator, he is also supposed to rest, so please walk!

The condition of the plumbing, bathroom and toilet is disgusting. The shell is attached to the snot and practically dangles in the air. A curtain weighs by the bath, which has not been washed, it seems, all these 12 years that the hotel has existed. The towels stink of chlorine.
The toilet flushes every other time. (Maybe this is also some kind of their sacred action (as with the elevator), I don’t know, I haven’t delved into the details)
The rooms are small, if you do not specify that you need a sea view, they will be happy to accommodate you where there is none.
After visiting a terrible cafeteria for breakfast for the first time, we decided as white people to order breakfast in the room. We called the reception, they said that for some reason we didn’t have a menu, they brought it to us with grief in half after the 3rd call... And then we wake up in the morning and see that our menu is also hanging from the back of the door! And of course no one brought us any breakfast. We go down to find out at the reception, they don’t even apologize, they say that the staff probably didn’t notice, have breakfast in the dining room. Although you have to pay for the delivery of breakfast to the room. They don't even want to make money. . .
The sunbeds on the beach and by the pool are dirty and old. It’s disgusting to even look at them, and lying on them doesn’t respect yourself at all!
And they also have an amazing rule to close all the beaches at 6 pm, while the sun will shine for another 2 hours. And at 6, if you yourself do not deign to get out of the beach or from the pool area, they will help you! Moreover, their delicacy before our eyes reached the assault in some cases!
After the first such incident, we went to complain to the management. We were spoken to by the manager, who stood with the look of a guilty kitten and could not connect two words. The next day we were sent a bottle of wine to our room, but you must admit that this ridiculous gesture is not worth a single egg, while for a stay in this hotel $ 1300 was paid per week / per person.
And finally, the service from the beach at the hotel, when we didn’t go two hours earlier from the beach, told us that we can get out to our fuking country (fuking country) if we don’t like something.

What actually happened and for which I am extremely happy. God be with him with this Israel.
I'd rather go to Turkey or Egypt 8 times, if once again it turns out to leave urgently.
