There is little to surprise me in Tel Aviv - I lived in this wonderful fun city for 5 years. And I worked for more than 10. And I knew this hotel well - I drove past it to work and back, I went in once ...And it didn’t cause much delight in me - a simple building, some kind of unkempt one. Therefore, this hotel was rarely offered to tourists - why should we make problems for people for their own money?
Two years ago, everything changed - the hotel entered the well-known Israeli hotel chain Atlas. The hotels of this network are distinguished by their compactness and non-Israeli service! That is why we have many regular customers who in Jerusalem recognize only the Harmony Hotel.
In Tel Aviv, we have always offered tourists who want to book a hotel higher than Israeli 4 *, but are not ready to pay for 5, or the neighboring hotel of the same Atlas - the Melody Hotel, or the Savoy Hotel. And now I regret only one thing - that this exclusive hotel, the Shalom Hotel, did not offer tourists.

The main plus of this hotel is the complete absence of minuses. The fact that the promenade and the beach are across the road does not bother most tourists - this is the specificity of the Tel Aviv embankment ...In addition, opposite the hotel there is a large and well-maintained garden - "Gan Atzmaut" (Garden of Independence). A few years ago it was an unpleasant and I would even say dangerous place. But the city authorities capitally invested and now this is a civilized place!

I won't tell you about the lobby and the rooms - it's a must see! Food is a separate issue. This is a gourmet feast. Especially those who appreciate not only the range, but also the quality of products.
You can book accommodation in this hotel both on online booking sites and through any tour operator from Russian / Ukrainian / Belarusian ...The conditions will be +/- the same. Breakfast is included in the room rate. You can dine in one of the dozens of cafe-restaurants in the area. And there are no problems with dinners in Tel Aviv. But before you go in search of a suitable place, I recommend that you look into the cozy hotel restaurant for Happy hour. From 17 to 19 - treat for FREE.
Guests of the hotel can also take advantage of a free sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to Old Jaffa, which is sponsored by the Diamond Exchange in Ramat Gan (a suburb of Tel Aviv). It is recommended to book BEFORE you leave for Israel. Although you can order it while already at the hotel. But it's a little more complicated - you have to call, negotiate ...
Our tour operator in Israel "Classic Travel" is interested in the promotion of this hotel no more than in the promotion of others. We are not affiliated with any hotel - both me and my colleagues from the St. Petersburg and Moscow offices of Classic Travel do not care what hotels to sell. It is important for us that the tourist returned from Israel satisfied! Therefore, we always recommend only those hotels for which you will not be ashamed later. Everything is individual here - someone will be comfortable enough to spend the night in the nearby Olympia hotel, someone will be satisfied with the Metropolitan hotel corresponding to its price ...Those who are looking for not just a hotel in Tel Aviv, but something special with their own "chip" and at the same time by the Mediterranean Sea, I strongly recommend either the Shalom hotel or the neighboring Melody. Not cheap, but worth it!

The hotel has an unbelievable atmosphere. Starting with a delicious non-obtrusive smell, salon music and a magnificent interior. 2. Fresh renovation. 3. The atmosphere of home comfort with an incredible gloss. 4. Comfort in the little things - a beautiful and delicious breakfast. Which gives sensations of pleasure even to gourmets. Large selection of cheeses, appetizers, salads, fish and greens. For lovers of baking, it's a paradise. The main thing is no excess. The choice is always such that more is not needed : )5. Large selection of teas, delicious cappuccino, which will be brewed for you at your request. Decent and sophisticated service. 6. Very helpful service. Lots of Russian-speaking guys. Very friendly to children. 7. Tea is always available on the first floor of the hotel - you can make yourself a teapot at any time of the day - the choice of teas will please you. The main thing is that you can not drink tea bags. 8. Hours when you can have a light snack from 17.00-19.00. 9. I was struck by the roof of the hotel - a small garden with sun loungers and murmuring water was very beautifully decorated. 10 The location is convenient - you are close to the old port next to Independence Park. the beach is a stone's throw - 5 minutes walk through the park. The truth is you have to cross the road. The park has a playground for children. 11. In 5-10 minutes walk old Tel Aviv, Dizingoff and other streets filled with "telaviv" flavor. Neve Tzedek, Rothschild Avenue and Jaffa - all this is not far away. 12. The hotel is not large with 55 rooms, you always feel yourself in the center of caring attention, but there is not even a hint of obsession - everything is very worthy. You really relax in the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel after our wedding. Breakfast was excellent especially shakshuka with tomatoes, shakshuka zucchini, unusual cheeses and 5 types of homemade jam! We lived in a spa room. This is truly an amazing number! It is worth spending money on this one. True, we arrived at the hotel only at 2 am. After breakfast we went to the roof of the hotel! Very nice view and very comfortable sunbeds and hammock! We would like to return in the future! Maybe on the first anniversary : o) and not just a few hours before dinner as it was this time after the wedding. … More ▾ We stayed at the hotel after our wedding. Advice for all honeymooners: book at least 2 nights after the wedding. Do not repeat our mistake and do not book just one night. This is an amazing place for wonderful memories.

Stayed at the Shalom Hotel in Tel Aviv in the fall of 2011. The hotel is wonderful! I can recommend to everyone. All photos presented on Booking. com are completely true. I really liked the design of the hotel, a wonderful stylish living room with armchairs, tables, on which there are always vases of fresh fruit, newspapers, magazines. … More ▾ Stayed at the Shalom Hotel in Tel Aviv in the fall of 2011. The hotel is wonderful! I can recommend to everyone. All photos presented on Booking. com are completely true. I don't know how long ago the renovation was done, but inside everything is new and clean. I really liked the design of the hotel, a wonderful stylish living room with armchairs, tables, on which there are always vases of fresh fruit, newspapers, magazines. All furniture is designed in a single, English style. In general, the hotel is very refined and intelligent. The service is wonderful (funny, but this is the only hotel in my month-long trip to Israel - everything else is also fours and fives - in which the maid neatly folded my pajamas and placed them on the bed: in all the other maids casually threw crumpled pajamas on the nightstand or table ! ! ). The room is small, it has a huge bed, 2 bedside tables, an armchair, a coffee table, a long table that can serve as a writing or dressing room, a flat-screen TV. What is important - with TV, the keyboard is computer, i. e. I think since the hotel has free Wi-Fi in the rooms, you can go online. I myself took a netbook, so I didn’t use this keyboard, I received a password at the reception and talked via Skype with Russia.
Breakfasts are normal, juices are only erupfrutovy and orange, but freshly squeezed. Muesli, buns, oatmeal porridge, various types of herring, cold-smoked mackerel, salted salmon, various vegetables, eggs in all forms, delicious pastries. What is nice, tablecloths and linen napkins for breakfast (in other hotels - only for dinner). Soft classical music plays all the time. There are Russian-speaking employees at the reception. The only negative is the hotel on the second line and go to the beach for about 7 minutes. They give a bag with a beach towel and a bottle of water to the beach.
In the evenings from 17:30 to 19:30 at the hotel - Happy hours. It's something like a five-o-clock, but they also serve alcohol. Champagne, liqueurs, tea in various forms, cookies, snacks, nuts, desserts. I liked the whipped cream. But, since I’m always traveling, I managed to get this watch only twice : -(
Yes, there is also a lovely corner on the roof, which I remembered on the last day and only had time to take a picture. They say they do a free massage, I don’t know - I haven’t tried it.
In general, the hotel left a very good impression, if I come to Israel again, I will stay there.

I wonder why this hotel on this site is presented in the three-star category, it goes everywhere as 4 *. I don't know if it has been refurbished or if the hotel has always been like this, but just a wonderful hotel! I stayed there in September 11. I liked everything: the overall design of the hotel, the room, the breakfast, the service, the atmosphere in the hotel. More: 1) the design is designed in the English style, a lovely living room, on the tables there are newspapers, fruit vases, quiet classical music or classical jazz sounds all the time. On the roof - a charming corner with hammocks, sun loungers, fountains, tables in the gazebo, you can sit with friends. With us, guests took drinks and snacks during Happy Hours and went up to the roof. They say there is a free massage, I didn’t do it - so I can’t say anything. 2) Room: a huge bed, 2 bedside tables, an armchair, a coffee table, a long table, a refrigerator, a safe, a tea and coffee set, a flat-screen TV with a computer keyboard. True, I took a netbook with me, so I didn’t need the keyboard, but since Wi-Fi is free in this hotel, it will probably come in handy for many. Plumbing and furniture - everything is new, they give a bunch of towels, linen is changed often. The maids are very friendly, many - ours, what you ask - they will bring in an instant. 3) Breakfast: as everywhere in Israel there are no sausages for breakfast (to be honest, I got bacon and nasty sausages in Eurol), so we ate fish here with pleasure. Salmon, mackerel, herring in various forms, some other tasty fish, vegetables, muesli, oatmeal porridge, eggs in all forms, delicious pastries. There were only two juices: orange and grapefruit, but freshly squeezed. What I liked is that scrambled eggs are served in small frying pans with a mitten on the handle, linen tablecloths and linen napkins for breakfast are on the tables, which is basically uncharacteristic for hotels all over the world, in the evening - yes, and in the morning - you rarely see linen napkins. In short, the intelligent and refined atmosphere is fully maintained. Maybe, of course, the food is not as varied as, for example, it was then in Rimonim in Eilat, but you get full, plus an exquisite atmosphere as a bonus : -)) 4) The only negative is that the hotel is located on the second line from the sea, it takes about 7 minutes to walk to it. But, since we planned excursions in Tel Aviv, and left the rest for Eilat, this did not bother us. When going to the beach, you need to contact the reception, they give everyone a towel and a bottle of water in a branded bag, it's nice : -)) 5) In the evening, in my opinion, from half past six to half past eight Happy Hours, it's like a five-o-clock, but in addition to different types of tea and pastries, they also serve alcohol with snacks. With pleasure, a couple of evenings (they no longer fell due to excursions) drank champagne with fruits and nuts. I liked the dessert - something like whipped cream. In general, I liked the hotel very much, I have something to compare with, I have been to many European hotels (4 *. 5 *), with a pure heart I will recommend it to my friends and relatives, and if I myself go to Tel Aviv again, I will stay there. If anyone has questions, write, I will answer. Tatyana
