At extra charge. Ala carte is expensive by local standards. There are 2 restaurants right next to the hotel, they are cheaper. But the most profitable and delicious option to eat on the beach. The food in the main restaurant is not very diverse, a small selection of meat and fish dishes. There is local and European cuisine. Small selection of fruits. The hotel works on all types of food, but I think the best option is to take breakfast. Another plus is that the hotel has a Russian-speaking manager. Our room was quite spacious, clean linen, a snow-white bath and shower, all the necessary toiletries, a cozy balcony with two sofas and overlooking the hotel grounds with its palm trees, decorated with ponds. The hotel staff is very polite, service at the proper level.
The small remoteness of the hotel from the beach did not detract from its merits. It was our choice: to drive a couple of minutes on a special shuttle that transports tourists to the beach and back with an enviable frequency, or take a walk for 7 minutes, enjoying the surrounding landscape. The gentle sea, warm sand - everything filled with some kind of bliss, joy and happiness.
But the most valuable thing in this paradise is people, their goodwill, smiles, incredible openness. I was lucky to meet my savior. Last year he saved me when I was drowning in the sea. I am eternally grateful to him. An unusually kind person. These were his friends - rescuers. And it must be admitted that they carry out their service very responsibly. Their vigilance and appropriate preparation helped save more than one life on the Goa beach. So your safety will depend not only on you.
Adding to our amazing stay was a visit to the SwaMi Ayurveda Clinic. The visit to this clinic was based on the fact that I had an excellent impression of the procedures taken in this clinic last year. For a very small price, you can take several treatments that the doctor will recommend to you after a conversation, a dosha check at the beginning of your visit. The sound of mantras will relax you even more and set you up for healing. There are professionals in their field, conscientiously doing their job. But they are also unusually friendly people who can keep up a conversation with you, by the way, in Russian, offer a cup of tea. It is very convenient to visit this clinic, because. it is located in close proximity to the beach on the way from the hotel. I strongly recommend visiting this clinic - you will be very satisfied.
I do not know what is happening with many of my friends who have been to Goa. They feel somehow renewed, energetic, happy. And they all want to come back. I want to go back there too! And I will return there! I will be glad if it will be the Alila Diwa Goa hotel again!

We arrived in India at 4 am, stood in line for a long time to pass the Indian border, then went to the hotel.
Hotel ALILA DIVA met with absolute calmness, silence and comfort. While our room was being cleaned, we walked around the small but well-groomed territory of the hotel: there is water around, small artificial ponds, palm trees, greenery, grass and flowers. Walked to the sea coast - min. 10 - the space is mesmerizing, there is enough space for everyone.
At 7:30 we had breakfast and settled (without additional payments and bribes). Thanks to Olesya, hotel employee!
We took only breakfast, which we didn’t regret, there are many cafes around the hotel and on the beach, including the already popular U Kolya, we counted 7 of them on the coast.
Opposite the hotel there is also a good cafe "Fishka", excellent cuisine, delicious fresh seafood, reasonable prices.
An excursion to the spice plantation, Old Goa and the capital of Goa - Panaji - was bought near the hotel, on the advice of vacationers - a young man Joseph on a new Tayota with number 5393, rolled us for half a day, stopped where they asked, and all this for $ 10 per person (us was 4). What I liked - endless coastal expanse, warm gentle sea, beautiful romantic sunsets, open friendly people, silence and relaxation atmosphere in the hotel, beautiful birds, cows, crabs, shrimps, lobsters, fruit juices and a feeling of eternal life...
Everything else (lack of traffic rules, mosquitoes and garbage) is not so important. Recommended!! !
