I only had breakfast - monotonous, but not bad. Pros: the rooms are fresh, everything is in order, the furniture is new, they are cleaned quite well. The staff is friendly. There is really Wi-Fi in the lobby and it's really free, so the issue of calls to the homeland disappears immediately, we use Skype and zero problems!!!
It is about five minutes walk to the beach, Colva beach is really one of the best, because for the sake of interest, I took a taxi to many beaches in both the south and north of Goa, ideal for a family vacation. There are a lot of shakes (cafes) on the beach, for myself I identified several where I mostly sunbathed and ate: to the left of the central exit to the beach - Papillon (the owner of the establishment is called Marcel, you will recognize him right away - he looks more like a Portuguese than an Indian) and Sukorin (the owner's name is Ben, he is also easy to recognize - he has the most European appearance of all), to the right - Boomerang and Silver Spoon. The cuisine is about the same everywhere, the prices are the same, so the choice is yours, you have never experienced any stomach troubles. Without saving much on myself, for lunch and dinner (including alcohol), on average, it took about 800 rupees a day (the exchange rate is about 1 rupee - 70 kopecks). From alcohol: very good local rum Old Monk (Old Monk), liqueur (or as it is called white rum for some reason) Cabo, port wine Seven is also worth a try, and of course King Fisher Premium beer !!
There is a very interesting old man in the neck of Boomerang who does massage, 500 rupees from ears to toes, I recommend trying it.

The only big minus of the Colva village is the complete lack of entertainment!!!! ! Boredom to death! ! If you need a quiet beach holiday - you are here, if you need action - by no means !!!! ! Margarita's only club is a gay club!! ! old imported grandfathers come here in droves for young Indians ! ! Horror!!
On excursions that do not involve long-distance travel (waterfalls, spices, elephants, night market), it is better to go with taxi drivers, you collect a company of 5-6 people and go ! ! It comes out about six times cheaper than tour operators.
Of all the excursions, I would especially single out the market at night, it works only on Saturdays from 18.30 to 02.00 like, but it's not only shopping (and you can buy interesting things there) but also the Goa entertainment center on Saturday ! ! what kind of characters can not be found here!! ! Neither lovers of Goan trance, nor connoisseurs of the good old rock and punk will be bored! , and all this coexists in a very small area!! ! Well, everything else is like everywhere else: flora and fauna, ruins, etc. etc.
