I'm in a hurry to rehabilitate this hotel. By the way, now it is called Byke Resort. Apparently, the name changed along with the owners. The hotel is revitalized, quickly put in order. Work is in full swing everywhere. The area of a two-room suite (standard) is 60 sq. m. Room with kitchenette and bathroom. The refrigerator is new. There is an electric kettle. Plasma TV (without Russian channels, which are not needed there). The only thing we weren't warned about in advance was that the restaurant at the hotel is all vegetarian. But it's not scary. There are many restaurants in the village where the food is delicious. We chose a very good Jazz inn for ourselves: the staff is intelligent and friendly. When we flew back, they asked us to pack delicious cakes for the journey. And here's another thing that they didn't know about - about Arab Airlines (flying to the Emirates, and from them to Goa), which do not feed during the entire flight. Only for money. But these are all particulars that can be experienced. The beauty around is indescribable. Before the trip, I read recommendations on websites, they say, take a taxi and go to other beaches. There's nothing to do. The nearest beach, Benaulim (we saw it from the window of the room), is the cleanest and, most importantly, allows you to get away from everyone for many kilometers (a paradise for a misanthrope). What was a fly in the ointment: a guide from Concord. We saw her briefly. She was always in a hurry somewhere. And at the booth of this host company there were two lonely pictures. Zero information: but the guide had to at least report the time of her arrival at the hotel, about when the transfer to the airport for her sponsored tourists (however, she sent us a guide letter to the room about the transfer, for which we thank her). At the reception, slightly inhibited phlegmatic guys. However, the people here are generally unhurried, measuredly living. And, as everyone here notes, exceptionally friendly. We returned home and everyone understood: we are at home. Rudeness and greed from all sides. We think that we will visit India from time to time, cleanse our brains, relax our bodies and souls. And the hotel, perhaps, will choose the same one.
