I had a chance to live 4 days in this hotel during a sightseeing tour of Sicily at the end of April 2007. The territory is small and descends in terraces to the sea where there is a good entry into the sea. This is where the positives of this hotel end.
The rooms are terrible. No, everything is there - a refrigerator, a TV, a hair dryer, a balcony, etc. But all this is miserable and has been used for more than a dozen years. The walls are covered with wallpaper, which has come off in places, the furniture is shabby, the locks open when they want, the bedspreads are stained. But towels are terry.
Nutrition. This is pi... (well, you understand) !!! ! Restaurant for 750 people and. . . 3 coffee machines. Thank God that we went down early and managed to drip this brown goo. By the way, boiling water is also in them (coffee machines). For tea, too, had to stand in line for 15-20 minutes. All food was swept away instantly and updated extremely slowly. As a result, half of the group remained hungry. The bus won't wait! All day from 8.30 to 19.00 we rode on excursions, arrived for dinner. To know the buyback !!!! ! I would buy food in Palermo! Portions are meager, service by waiters and very slow. What they put on our plates is simply impossible to eat. Imagine a spoonful of gray mashed potatoes diluted with water + two pieces of warmed sausage ham + carrots from a jar ala Banduel also warmed up. And there is nowhere to go to eat. Leaving the hotel grounds is a risk to life. There is no sidewalk, you have to walk along the roadway and you don’t know where. By the way, Sicily is a big village and traffic rules from Europe have not reached them. They drive like in Moscow - pedestrians are rarely allowed to pass and they rush to the red!
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!! ! One negative!!!! ! Plus, when our group was on an excursion, on the last day of our stay at this hotel, we "walked" through things in the rooms. The result - the zipper on the suitcase of one couple was broken (the lock was torn out by the roots), the cosmetic bags of several people were turned upside down, the girl's silk top disappeared! Like this.
Perhaps we arrived at the wrong time? ! We are not jaded and flared tourists, we travel to different countries 2 times a year, we choose hotels 3-4 stars, but nowhere, I repeat, ANYWHERE have we seen such a sludge!!!
