Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
I would like to share my fresh impressions from my vacation in Villa dei principi. We as a family rested in this hotel from June 22 to July 01.2010.
Villa dei principi was chosen consciously, on the recommendation of friends who had vacationed there a year earlier. In addition, a lot of time was spent on studying reviews on the Internet and I can say that it was not in vain. Since someone's reviews helped us in choosing a hotel, I would like to write my own so that he would help someone make their choice.
This was our first trip to Italy. We flew on a regular Alitalia flight to Rome and rented a car from the Rome agency Abitrans. During the holidays, we planned to travel along the Odyssey coast and visit Pompeii, so the availability of free equipped parking for hotel guests was important for us. The Villa dei principi has it and is very spacious. In addition, a plus for us was the availability of free wi-fi Internet access, which, if you have a laptop with Skype, provides an excellent opportunity for unlimited calls to Russia. In addition, the hotel has its own equipped beach and a beach bar, where a buffet is organized at lunchtime, with a variety of snacks, pastas, salads, hot dishes, desserts, etc. The food is excellent, I would like to separately note the work of the chef - a master of his craft. She cooks just fine, and every dinner turns into a separate entertainment with tasting dishes and wines.

The hotel is perfectly located, has a green well-groomed territory, a wonderful restaurant with a veranda, where it is very pleasant to have breakfast, admiring the morning sea, and most importantly, the hotel has an excellent and unobtrusive service. The hotel staff is great. Many of the hotel staff speak some Russian, and the hotel manager, Antonio, speaks Russian quite well (by the way, Antonio personally takes orders during dinner), in addition, many in the hotel speak English, the poet of the language problems that sometimes arise our compatriots in Italy don't have it here.
Separately, I would like to note Valentino - a man of incredible charm. He runs a beach bar and helps Antonio out at dinner.
For the whole holiday there was only one drawback, this is that the holiday itself ended, and we had to leave this hospitable place. I agree with everyone who writes that Villa dei principi has become their holiday home. This is true, it is so cozy and good in it that literally on the second day you feel at home.
