Stayed at Avani for 10 nights. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Room on the 2nd floor overlooking the lagoon. We took only breakfast, as we were going to go on excursions often. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, juices are different every day. Every day, 2 bottles of good drinking water are placed in the rooms, on which tea was brewed, as tap water (river water) has a slight taste of chlorine, tea bags, coffee are added daily. Cleaning of the room, change of bed, towels every day, each time different flowers on the bed. The rooms are equipped in a modern way: high-quality plumbing, electrical equipment too - a lot of sockets, and in addition to type G and combined type G + C. In the room e. kettle TEFAL, mini-fridge, air conditioning, TV (the 1st Russian channel on which there is nothing to watch except talk shows, BBC, Al Jazeera... ), safe. WI-FI is free. The weather was good during the day +32.33, at night +22.23. One evening it was raining. The ocean is calm enough for swimming, especially before 11 am. In the first days, the hotel was mostly foreigners, then our compatriots from the CIS arrived and it became livelier in the hotel, especially on the beach. On one of the evenings, they caught a performance with dancing and fire swallowing, on the other, the elephant Monica was brought to the wedding and ride the hotel guests. From the first day on our balcony, palm squirrels (Lena) were frequent guests, they adore sunflower seeds. Several times we were at dinner in a restaurant at the hotel, no high cost, as some of our tourists write, did not notice. We were in the family restaurant "Red Lobster" next to the hotel, where we ordered seafood and talked with Shiyan, who knows Russian and you can order excursions, tuk-tuks, etc. from them. The hotel staff is very friendly, always smile and greet those passing by hotel guests. I liked the rest and travel in Sri Lanka, but 5 more days would not hurt
