There were 4 of us, we got to the hotel without any problems, sat down for 22 bus -20 minutes and we were already in the city center , looked around, the way from the stop to the hotel took 3 minutes. The hotel is located opposite the central bazaar (we visited it, it was interesting), the central Origo department store, and behind the hotel is the Old Town (cultural events, various architecture, everything for tourism) We liked the hotel, standard the rooms are not large, but there is an ironing board, hairdryer, towels and hygiene products of normal quality, the windows overlooked the Old City, the view was beautiful. After the check-in, we went on a tour of the Museums, attractions, and also had lunch at the Livonia restaurant - I advise you to visit this place, do not forget for a long time. Evenings were spent in the Lobby Bar of the hotel, got on various discounts, tried homemade wine and beer, as well as national dishes. We had breakfast in the morning in the restaurant and I can say that we were full before dinner. All the excursions that the hotel ordered were worked out to 100, the guide was very kind, she told me so that the time flew by. In general, the holiday was a success, thanks to the hotel, thanks to the travel agency, everything was as promised, I will definitely come back to you.

The hotel is very close to the railway and bus station of Riga and the location is very convenient, you can walk to the main sights in 10-15 minutes. The rooms are good, the breakfast too, the service is 5 stars At the reception, your questions and wishes are treated extremely attentively. The hotel has a very calm and quiet environment.

We liked the surroundings, the view from the window to the Old Town and we enjoyed walking.
The restaurant of the Avalon hotel, designed for 80 seats with international cuisine, offers guests to start the morning with a delicious healthy breakfast, in the afternoon - hold a business meeting at lunch or enjoy dinner in a romantic evening setting. After lunch, we rested at the bar and ended up just in Happy Hour - 50% discount on all drinks. We were struck by the European level, the hotel more than corresponds to 4 stars. The staff is fast and professional.

The hotel is located right in the old town. The hotel staff speaks good Russian and they solved all our problems with luggage lost at the airport. The room is large, bright and clean, good view from the window, pleasant and friendly atmosphere. We liked!! !
