There was no light in the hallway, it took three days to change the bulb. From the boiler and from the tank dripped onto the floor. For the past two days, the light in the toilet has been flashing. We contacted the front desk, to no avail. Receptionists just smile and do nothing. Terrible dirt in the room!! !

The representative of the travel agency indicated that the hotel is 2 *, we climbed on the Internet, read the reviews, so upon arrival we were not surprised. In the photo there is a beautiful green park area at the hotel, everything is as it is. Very quiet (when compared, for example, with Budva) place. The room is small, yes, but everything is quite clean and very pleasant, albeit modest. And what to expect from 2 stars, then? ) Bed linen was changed every 2 days. Towels, yes, there is such a thing, there were also torn ones, but they were changed every day. There was soap and toilet paper. But all these are trifles, we went to rest and walk around the country, so we needed the room only for "sleeping", in principle, I can’t complain about anything) The food was at the hotel. Buffet breakfast and dinner. We were fed so that we crawled out from the table a little). There is always a huge selection, and I must say that the workers are great, they tried to cook something new every day. Well, not counting breakfasts. )) They were very similar, but it doesn't matter! you can find options in the town for breakfast) In general, the impressions are good. And if I had the opportunity to go again, I would not refuse. The only huge minus is the lack of a refrigerator in the rooms, and without the rest we did a great job)) you can put up with a lot due to the beauty of the surrounding town. One village Rafailovichi is worth something! ! A small fishing village with many fish restaurants.
For people with children and the elderly, I would not recommend this hotel. Too many stairs! ! And if you are young and you can’t walk up and down a huge number of steps, then, in principle, the “cheap-cheap” option. Oh, I almost forgot about the tunnel, which everyone complained about in previous comments. When we arrived, it was CLEAN, it was the gentlemen who littered it themselves. And on the eve of our departure, they sort of started repairs there, I hope that everything will be much nicer))

This is not even a hotel, but a pioneer camp of the Soviet era... The food is terrible, the dishes are all broken, old, go to the sea through a tunnel, dirty and gloomy, the sea is clean only until lunch, then the crowd people, a greasy film on the surface, algae, it’s difficult to walk without bathing slippers, the pebbles are very prickly, there is no store nearby, there is nowhere to go in the evening, just go to Budva, but it’s not very pleasant to return to the darkness back... Plus, very interesting excursions, beautiful the views, the territory is large and well-groomed. . .

Undoubtedly, the hotel does not surprise with service or rooms, but leaves a very pleasant memory of living in it. Most likely, thanks to the nice and helpful staff, friendly attitude and delicious food.
Do not go to this hotel if you are spoiled for five star hotels in Turkey. But if you are going to see the country (which, by the way, is fabulously beautiful) and enjoy the cleanest Adriatic Sea, then you will be quite comfortable.
The food at the hotel is buffet style, and quite tasty, the rooms are far from new, but clean and comfortable. They clean every day very funny and cute little girls who do not understand a word in Russian, but are always happy to talk with you.
There is very little to go to the sea along the path from the hotel among the flowering bushes, and the location of the hotel in 2010 is one of the most successful in this price range.
For us personally, it was another huge plus in this hotel that there are almost no Russians in it. I rest in it in 99% of the Serbs, who are much nicer, more cultured and friendly than our compatriots.
All rooms with real sea view, very beautiful. And this, in principle, compensates for the lack of air conditioning and TV in the room. In general, Montenegro is not a very developed country, so this hotel is quite consistent with it.
We returned 2 days ago under a huge positive impression, so I honestly recommend this hotel and the whole holiday in Montenegro to you : ))

Rested in Motz in July last (2009) year. Sea view from the room (side view), clean enough, cleaned every day, old plumbing. There is no air conditioning TV, but we did not expect such charms from 2 *. It was stuffy, but tolerable. The food for kopeck piece was very good, quite varied (meat, fruits, donuts, honey, and pate, by the way, was also delicious). … More ▾ Rested in Motz in July last (2009) year.

The food for kopeck piece was very good, quite varied (meat, fruits, donuts, honey, and pate, by the way, was also delicious). True, drinks were served only for breakfast, for dinner you could buy them for an additional (expensive) fee.
Go to the beach for 5-10 minutes, through a small tunnel, which is located under the roadway. It's dirty there! The road to the beach is not well-maintained, there was a lamppost, rubbish, dried bushes. I read in previous reviews that they saw snakes there, I have never seen one!
The beach of the Moc hotel itself is clean, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for an additional fee. The sea is the cleanest, only the water is a bit cold, you won’t swim for a long time. The bottom is uninteresting (this is for those who like to look at the fish). Near the beach of the Motz hotel there is a piece of the city beach, the garbage there, in my opinion, has never been removed for a week. Very dirty!
But in general, I liked it, beautiful nature and clear sea, various open-air discos and cafes nearby (20-30 min. walk) mountains, friendly (though not always understanding English and especially Russian, but always ready to help in any way he can) staff. I remember Montenegro with pleasure!

Many tour operators position the hotel as a 3-star, in fact it is a 2-star, but the hotel does not correspond to this level either: Minuses: 1) numbers 2.5 by 2.5 2) there is no air conditioning, normal ventilation, the rooms are incredibly stuffy 3) the building is a former children's camp 4) half a bag of bread, inedible chicken pate, jam and boiled eggs were given out for a ration excursion. … More ▾ Many tour operators position the hotel as a 3-star, in fact it is a 2-star, but the hotel does not correspond to this level either:

Beautiful nature, clean sea, friendly people.
However, be very careful when choosing a hotel. And I'm not too lazy to emphasize, very carefully!! ! In the season June - August it is very hot there (it was especially hot for me in Montenegro) and it is extremely difficult to live without air conditioning in the room.
In June, I went on a bus tour "Croatia - Montenegro" which was organized by the Feeria travel agency. Surprises began already in Chop. The bus that was waiting for us in Chop clearly did not correspond to the high-profile title of "Euroclass bus". It belonged to some Hungarian company and the drivers, respectively, were Hungarians, who, apart from their Hungarian, did not know any other language. And we did not have Hungarian experts in the group either. Our guide and group leader Lena knew English. How she communicated with them is still a mystery to me.
Then, even better, in Budapest, the second driver left us, but the wife of the remaining driver joined in his place. And further, and the road is not close to Baska Voda (the city where we should stop in Croatia), we drove with one driver. Which is generally against the rules.
But the most important thing is the non-working air conditioner and the constant breakdowns of the bus. Something was constantly leaking from the bus and it caused us concern. After all, Montenegro was ahead, and this is a dangerous mountain serpentine, and in fact everyone wants to live. Therefore, we already asked our team leader to change the bus in Croatia. But the management of the Feeria travel agency did not respond to our request in any way, of course, because it was not Mr. Zakharenko (director of the Feeria) who was riding the bus at 30 degrees and above. In Montenegro, the temperature in the cabin reached 45 degrees, if she didn’t see it herself, didn’t say it (our people even took pictures of a thermometer with such a temperature). Actually, I don't like the sauna, and now I understand why.
Then we had to rebel. We wrote a letter to the management of the Feeria company, where we stated all the comments on the bus and the entire group of 30 people signed it. Only after this and our repeated calls and conversations on the way back we were provided with a really normal bus.
What else can be seen is that we tourists are completely disenfranchised people. And therefore we are "thrown" by travel companies as they want and as they can. Maybe someone brought to responsibility is not a conscientious travel agency, then share your experience.
Now about hotels
In Croatia, we stopped in the city of Baska Voda, Urania Hotel. The hotel is basically nothing, but there is a small BUT. It is positioned as a 2-star and there were no air conditioners in the houses where we lived. And for example, in my contract with a travel agency (I bought a tour from the travel agency "Metropol Travel Group"), the class of the hotel is 3-star and the obligatory presence of air conditioning. And how is it to be here? There is a direct violation of the contract.
In Montenegro it was even worse. We were settled in the MOC hotel (I would call it a former pioneer camp), also 2-star without air conditioning, with smudges on the ceiling, and a terrible bathroom. At first we did not want to settle there, but we did not want to spend the night on the bus, and so we had to. The room was not just hot, but very hot and parko, the music from the nearest cafes was screaming until 2 am. It was practically not cleaned, plaster fell in the rooms of our friends, there were traces of either rats or mice, etc.
My advice to you is NEVER settle for THIS MOTS (or MOTS) HOTEL. The only plus that there was still a good dinner.
I have only one conclusion - the FEERIA travel agency saved a lot on us, Mr. Igor Zakharenko, the director of this company, cares only about himself and his own benefit. And he just doesn't care how people who go on tours of this company rest.
Still, I am an opimist and a lot of good things remain in my memory: these are ancient cities, Plitvice lakes, islands, an emerald and clear sea from which one does not want to climb out.
Therefore, of course, go to Montenegro and Croatia, but at the same time be vigilant, do not let yourself be thrown.

I want to tell you about my trip to Montenegro. Considering that it was a long time ago and that it was my first independent trip (previous years I traveled abroad either as part of groups or with my parents), I will not be very critical. We went in August 2002 (in the form of filling it is another year, because 2002 does not accept). We traveled on a good DAF bus from Lviv. The road passed quietly without any incidents. They settled us in the Alet 3 * hotel. The hotel is designed for non-rich clients, but as a first-year student (at that time) everything suited me. Rooms without pretensions to luxury, we had an exit from the room on the ground floor, so our veranda went straight to the green park. Very green, good area. The food was delicious and plentiful (breakfast and dinner). If you walk a little along the road on which the hotel is located in the city of Budva, you can find a good shop where you can buy groceries. From the hotel there is a path to the beach (you need to walk a little).
Along the embankment there are many restaurants and pizzerias where you can have a very tasty and relatively inexpensive meal. If you like outdoor activities, then there is where to roam. We took a taxi to the resort of St. Stefan, walked around the hotel-island there, then returned on foot, saw a lot of beautiful places. You can also go on foot through the tunnel to Budva, everyone probably knows about this resort, there is also something to see there. I advise you to go to the fortress in Budva. We also rented mountain bikes and rode around the area on them.
I advise everyone to go on an excursion to the Bay of Kotor and take a walk around the city of Kotor. Very beautiful. Nature is just amazing.
In general, if you have not yet decided to go or not to go to Montenegro, then I advise you to definitely go. Invest your money and choose a good hotel. And if the benefits of civilization are not the most important thing for you, you can save money and choose a cheaper hotel or apartment. I wish you a good choice and a good rest.
