After leaving Ternopil, the road was almost over, and after not reaching the Lviv bypass five kilometers, we got up for the night in some Podberezivtsi motel "Relax". Celebrated my birthday and went to bed.

In the morning we got up cheerfully (about 8-00), drank coffee with my grandmother's cake and drove on, at the border were 9-50 km from the house 1090 km, there was no queue and at 11-55 already left the Polish side.

Recreation and skiing

The first day is January 20.2011.

In the evening, after settling into the HENRYK Hotel, we ran to explore the center of the small town of Krynica. Of course, the establishments where food is open until 23-00. But, because

in Poland, the time is 1 hour earlier, then, similar to the search for an exchanger, we still found it and managed to exchange euros for zlotys (the man was delayed for 15 minutes). We went to the first inn and had a snack.

Yavozhyna Krynytska Ski Resort (6 km from the center). Unwritten beauty. Took carnets for 2 years at 45 zlotys. At about 12-30 the time ended. When we returned to the hotel, we had lunch and went to the water pub. The well is famous as a center of mineral water sources.

The third day. Again Jaworzyna, we take cards for points at 50 zlotys, it turned out to be not enough, replenished another 25. After lunch we decided to go to drink hot beer. And in a local bar they met a Polish couple. They came to Krynica from Warsaw to walk, breathe fresh air, drink water from mineral springs. And they went to the cafe to watch the TV championship in ski jumping, in which Polish athletes took part.

As usual it started - from our table to yours, etc. , so that by the end of the evening we understood each other effortlessly. Good thing our hotel was literally across the street : ).

We had a day off from skiing and went to Slovakia, the closest town to the border is Bardeev. In Slovakia, the local currency is the euro. The main attraction of the city is the central square of the town hall. We walked through the old streets, went to a coffee shop to drink coffee and went back to Poland.


Day five. Slots and Nitrogen. Surprisingly, the lifts are located 100 meters apart on each of their cards. Another feature is that the rental of a ski set is more expensive than in Jaworzyna (30 zlotys per day, compared to 25, and in the center of Krynica you could get 20). Slotviny - two tracks, both rolled to the ice, Nitrogen - a good wide route, which in some places passes through the woods.

We went to the ski station "Two Valleys", kept the road to Verkhomlya 40 km from Krynytsia, although it was possible to go to Shchyavnyk, 15 km from Krynytsia - these two villages belong to the same complex. The sun came out, and beautiful views opened up before us.

Rental turned out to be unimportant, because we had to change the skis first (they fell off on their own), and then the shoes (at first they gave big ones, but they were too small). And this despite the fact that the price of the kit is 35 zł . They took the carnet for 4 hours and rode until the beginning of the fourth. I really liked the slides, although the chair is very slow - 12 minutes of climbing up to 1800m.

Day seven. Krakow. We decided to go by car because we were told by bus that it would take more than three hours. But it did not work out quickly, although Krakow is only 140 km away. About 14-00 arrived in the center of Krakow. They made a circle of neighborhoods in search of parking, which was immeasurable along the sidewalks, but they were killed.

They tried to go down to the underground parking lot, but the device did not accept any money, and the barrier never opened. I had to park just along the road in the vacated place.

We looked at the local department store, which strongly resembled a Soviet shop, then walked along the Vistula embankment, and had lunch at a restaurant on the water called "Aquarium". Impressed by the many ducks and swans on the Vistula along the waterfront. As you approach the edge of the river, the whole crowd flocks to you to eat bread.

Day eight. Явожина. Carnet from 9-00 to 15-00 (it turned out to be the best offer), skated from 10-30 to the end and did not skate, already tired by this time.

There are several small areas where repair work is still underway. Such is the road all the way to Zhytomyr.

Zhytomyr 21-0.722 km Inter Hotel (UAH 530 per room !! )! We had dinner and spent the night. The next morning about 9-00 left.

From Zhytomyr to Kyiv is an old road, but tolerable.

Kyiv, exit to the bypass 10-25.860 km, exit 11-00.909 km

Boryspil 11-4.930 km refueled and reinforced. Shell gas station on the Boryspil highway is a great gas station, there is something to eat. Feature of pistols - fills a full tank, it is not necessary to ram. Although, maybe I took the gun out of the tank, so the valve in the tank closed and the gas spilled a little.

Kremenchuk 14-4.1195km. There is almost no normal road from Kremenchuk, and in some areas you will not go more than 40-50 km / h at all.

Zaporozhye house 17-4.1437 km, so the way through Kyiv is 110 km longer, about the same in time, but the road is better.

In general, I enjoyed the holiday. But due to the lack of roads in our country, I decided that in the next couple of years I will not drive in that direction. Maybe EURO 2012 will correct the situation. Let's see…
