Georg Kastriot Skanderbeg is a cult figure for Albanians. During one of the battles, Skanderbeg went over to the side of the enemy and raised an uprising for the independence of Kruja, which lasted until his death. At the Turkish court, George Kastrioti received the nickname Iskander Bey. For courage, courage and youth, he was compared with Alexander the Great. An excursion into the history of Albania
The museum is located in a restored fortress on top of a mountain in Upper (mountainous) Kruja. Inside is very pleasant light and enough space. You can get acquainted with Albanian traditions / Lots of information about local history. Excellent exposition, there are signs in English. The Skanderbeg Museum is an important place for the locals. He is an important historical figure, a national hero.→
