A very colorful place. The restaurant is quite expensive, but the food is very tasty and the main thing is the style in which the interior is designed, the castle itself .
We saw this cave during a boat trip. Beautiful. In the rock, among the water surface. We were offered to get inside on boats, but I did not dare. I think it's interesting)
Great place for walking or cycling. The greenery of the park, the singing of birds. There is a river in the park. It is very pleasant and romantic to walk together in such a place.
The fortress is not very big, but well preserved. Inside it is dark and a little uncomfortable, and you are waiting for some kind of ghost because of the angle of attack (before the trip, I got acquainted with the history of the fortress and a brief biography of Ali Pasha).
A very interesting museum. Located in the city, almost on the beach. There are quite a few exhibits here: sculptures, paintings and handicrafts from the history of the country.
Excellent museum. Modern, spacious and full of interesting exhibits. I didn’t even know before that Albania is so rich in talented people. This museum is a must to visit.
The tomb has recently been restored. We did not set out to visit this particular attraction. Came across it by accident. I was pleasantly surprised. Literally two years ago, a friend visited Albania and, among the pictures of other attractions, showed this one.
The Sheikh Zamil Abdullah Al-Zamil Mosque is located at the very beginning of the famous Kol Idromeno pedestrian street, next to Democracy Square. It's hard not to notice her.
The museum is located in a restored fortress on top of a mountain in Upper (mountainous) Kruja. Inside is very pleasant light and enough space. You can get acquainted with Albanian traditions / Lots of information about local history.
On a cool day, we decided to arrange a bike ride around the neighborhood. We also passed this bridge. The view from the bridge is beautiful on the river. Suitable for walking or cycling.
The hills to the south of the city center, just behind the stadium and the university, up to a large reservoir lake, are occupied by a vast park, in some places turning into a forest, a popular resting place for tyrants.
The tower itself is not very well preserved, but it is still a historical monument. There is a cozy bar inside the tower. You can drink a glass of cool wine after a hot day and enjoy the atmosphere.
An interesting mosque, rather chamber, ancient (15th century). The walls are decorated with engravings of Mecca and Medina. Very interesting images. I recommend visiting.
Well-groomed, restored mosque. I am glad that the Albanians are not obsessed with religion, as is the case with other Muslims. Whoever wants, he believes, who does not want - can just look like, no one will say anything.
We were in this park in winter. To be honest, I really didn't want to go. The road is long (about 6 hours), and even winter. But my husband persuaded me. Then he joked for a long time "you didn't want to go.
Fundamental structure of the 1st-2nd century AD! Of course, not as majestic and big as in other places. But it's interesting to see. If the new Albanian government finds the strength and means for further excavations, demolition of private houses, which are now actually grown into the hidden (not ex...
This bunker is a must visit! This is one of the best attractions in the capital in our opinion! Here you can understand the peculiarities of the country and its political regime.
Unusual in its architecture, an Orthodox church, and the bell tower is a separately standing high-rise building. Nice place for the Orthodox! Built recently on the site of the old one, destroyed by the former communist regime.
We were in the amphitheater and after visiting it, we decided not to ignore the castle of King Zogu. A bit difficult to get to the castle. He is on the mountain. At the moment, the castle does not function as a museum and, as the guard told us, officially belongs to the royal family.
The fortress is a must-see in Albania. It offers a magnificent panorama of the city and its surroundings. The fortress is very well preserved. Inside the weapons museum. The husband was happy as a child.
A very romantic place. Swans are almost tame. My husband and I fed them bread. They are not at all afraid of people. I am delighted! In general, I recommend visiting couples in love.
The fortress is located on a hill. It offers spectacular views of the city, river and mountains. This was not the first fortress we visited in Albania, but we liked it here the most.
About the city Elbasan is a small city, although it is considered one of the largest in Albania. It closely adjoins houses completely different in style and age. Watching the newest mansion and next to it a half-ruined building is extremely strange.
