Minimundus Miniature Park

The miniature park Minimundus is located near Klagenfurt and the lake Wörther See, and covers an area of ​​26,000 square meters. The park has over 150 1:25 scale models of famous landmarks, made using the same materials as the objects themselves. The Minimundus was opened in 1958 and is still in operation today.

For lovers of miniature parks
Subjectively - if you have been to at least one such place and are not an obvious fan of all kinds of miniature parks - you can safely skip this attraction. If you still got there, carefully consider the presented world sights and outline your plans for future travels (they say that visualized dreams come true faster : ) I visited as part of a group bus tour - they brought it, took it away + tried to conduct some kind of excursion - I don’t know how to get there. Entrance fee - 13 euros (as of April 2015).→

Miniature lovers.
There are many such parks of miniatures in different countries. For us it was the first visit. Located on the outskirts of Klagenfurt, the Minimundus park, as it seemed to us, is a recreation center for families with children. Consider a huge number of world cultural attractions, very interesting for children and for learning geography, and sometimes history. Since the weather was fine, we also enjoyed the walk. The variety of mini-copies is quite large, from the Eiffel Tower to the launch of the space shuttle.→
