We were offered a free tour of the papyrus museum. Let's go and have a look. Paintings hang on the walls of different sizes, the light is turned off and the paintings glow with a different pattern. Tell how to distinguish a real napyrus from a banana peel. And then shops, shops and shops.→

Liked less than in Hurghada

Here the place is more like a large gift shop, where they strongly insist on buying at least some trinket. However, if you are in Sharm, then for general development you can go here. I would have liked it if a similar museum in Hurghada had not been visited before.→

It was quite interesting to learn about the history of papyrus and its production technologies.

Some scientist from Egypt was engaged in the study of papyrus, and his works became the basis for the opening of this museum. We enjoyed the tour, although it was a little crumpled. There are plenty of souvenirs here that you can buy as a keepsake.→
