The oldest elements of the parish church of Saint Peter in Figueres date back to the 11th century. And already in the 14th century, the church was rebuilt in the then popular Gothic style. The interior decoration is closer to the style of restrained medieval monumentalism. They say that it was in this church that Salvador Dali was baptized at one time.
