The Dragon Caves is a unique natural attraction located in the east of Mallorca, in the city of Porto Cristo. The caves are mountain formations with stalactites and stalagmites, their length is about 2400 meters. The name of the caves is taken from the legend, according to which the entrance is guarded by dragons.

beautiful cave
The cave is beautiful, but to call it an attraction that overshadows all the Spanish sights put together, and only for the sake of it to go to Mallorca, as for me, is very strange ... We visited the cave as part of an organized tour, which we bought from a local agency. During the tour visit 2 places. First, they are taken to a shopping center, where artificial pearls of an unknown company, which imitates the famous Majorica, and some consumer goods are sold at sky-high prices, and then a cave.→

Worth to visit
Interesting cave, very interesting compositions, lighting is very cool. I was glad that there is free parking, but there were a lot of people in the evening, it would probably be worth visiting in the morning. We do not regret visiting this place. We advise everyone→

For this it is worth flying to Mallorca.
I have been to Spain many times. Drove it on the car up and down. I saw a lot. And with full confidence I can say that the Dragon Caves (Las Cuevas del Drach) in Mallorca overshadow all the sights of Spain combined. (Excluding Montserrat and the fireworks festival in San Sebastian). Legends about pirates, treasures of the Templars and all sorts of dragons are associated with these caves. You will be taken underground for a distance of approximately 1200 m. Please wear comfortable shoes. At the end of the journey, you will be offered to take a seat in an underground amphitheater on the shores of one of the largest underground lakes in the world.→
