The mosque was built in 1926. This is one of the largest Muslim churches in France, so the mosque attracts the attention of not only believers, but also ordinary tourists. Above it rises a minaret 33 m high, from which the faithful are called to prayer. The mosque is made in the Spanish-Moorish style. In the beautiful courtyard there is a swimming pool with fountains and a wide variety of exotic plants. The prayer hall is visited only by believers, but everything else is available to tourists.
