The Christian temple of Bagrat is visible almost anywhere in Kutaisi. You can climb to it on foot, but it is long and rather tiring. It is better to take a car and get there for about 3 GEL. This temple is known primarily for the fact that David the Builder was crowned in it. Until recently, the temple was abandoned, destroyed, and only in our time it was reconstructed. The domes of the temple are made of copper, and in front of the temple there is a large cross, also made of copper. Under the influence of time, copper changes its color, so the domes are now light green, and the cross is dark brown.→
