Greece, Chania
The current Orthodox church in the neoclassical style, which is a three-aisled basilica with an adjoining high bell tower. Its construction was completed in 1861, at the same time the Cathedral of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos was consecrated. The religious building is located in the historical center of the city, next to the Venetian harbor. The temple is decorated with arches, cornices and false columns. Religious paintings by famous Greek artists stand out in the interior. On the square in front of the Cathedral of Chania there is a monument to the Ecumenical Patriarch Athenagoras.

Cathedral of the Entry into the Church of the Blessed Virgin (Three Martyrs). The cathedral is located on the main street of the old town, near the Venetian harbor. The cathedral is also called the Three Martyrs (Trimartiri) and is dedicated to St. Nicholas and the Three Hierarchs. The current cathedral was built on the site of the old church of the Virgin, which dates from the 14th century. During the Turkish occupation of the city in 1645, the temple was transformed into a soap factory, without changing its original design.
